I'm a bogey golfer, I lost 4. Forecaddy is a minimum and my guy was awesome. There were some balls I would never bother looking for and he knew right where they were.

On Tuesday I was hanging out at my local golf shop and range. Hitting the MP-20s with different shafts on the Trackman.

Three Titleist reps come in to setup the new T-series cart and promotions. We discussed the MP-20s and their new irons. One of the reps starts telling me about working with Tiger back before the Nike days and gIves this great story.

Tiger is working relentlessly on the range, four straight hours hitting ball after ball. Finally, Tiger decides to break for lunch. Tiger tells the group, we're going to Arby's. They get into Arby's, everyone orders and Tiger is picking up the bill, which was strange enough. Tiger reaches into a little bag he had with him and takes a mailer of Arby's coupons out of his pocket. Tiger insisted on paying since the coupons expried the next day.

Career trajectory while eating at Arby's: strongly upward.

Career trajectory after switching to IHOP:  woefully downward.

Eat at Arby's

Koepka out, Fowler in for the President's cup.   Not that it matters.   It should be a whuppin' anyway.

Yawn. Not sure why there isn't more discussion on why Reed was included again. Completely carpet bombed the Ryder Cup team on his way out of France.

I was hoping they would have picked Kevin Na just for the entertainment value. Ricky is a solid addition.

Saw this deal on the Refuge message boards and thought I would pass it along. Club Champion currently is offering 50% off full bag fittings or 33% club fittings. $175 for a full bag fitting is really great deal. They have locations all over the US. Worth a look if you wanted to get your swing spec'd out.

Patrick Reed better get some noise cancelling headphones this week.     He is going to get his ass handed to him.   Which is one reason I sense an upset coming.
1.   Reed is a distraction.   Who is going to want to play with a cheater?   And, if it blows up, does he go after Tiger like he did Furyk in France?
2.  Tiger as player-coach.   Yeah, if anybody can, it is Tiger, but that is still a whole lot on your plate.
3.  Koepka out.
4.   DJ recently having knee surgery
5.   Fowler hasn't done much other than get married and get sick the last 3 months.

Maybe the US team still has enough.    And if I am wrong, meh.   But it just feels like there is enough factors that it could add up to an upset.

I think everyone is looking for a reason why an upset could happen, but ultimately outside of Leish, Scott, Hideki and Louie it should be a boatrace.

Is it okay I like more internationals than the US team?

tower912

Bryson has added 30 lbs so he doesn't have to afraid of Koepka and barely broke par on a much easier course last week.    What has Kuchar done recently?   Xander?   Webb?    Only players coming in playing close to form are the cheater and JT.    And Tiger, but two hats and 17 hour flight.   And he is old.

Definitely. The only guys I root for on the American team are Woodland and Finau.

Schauffele is in good form. Finished 2nd at the HSBC last month. 2nd at the Tour Championship. It is a bit hard to tell though, since the fall schedule is light for the marquee players.

But, you're right, overall.

Cue the Americans crying about the course...

Since the PGA Tour didn't get to mandate the watering, the Americans won't be able to play dart board golf. Advantage Internationals.
