Went to my 2nd Bucks' game last night.  Free tickets, just like the 1st time, 15 years ago.  -- I can wait 15 years for my 3rd game.

They reported 16,500 attendance, 95% full, but there were a TON of empty seats, I'd say 40% empty.   No doubt, a good chunk of people are exploring the Chaluparena, we saw a ton in the Panorama club not watching the game.  It reminded me of a Brewers game where people are tailgating in the 3rd inning, except paying 1000x for beer.

It was also interesting that my usual street parking spot for MU games was full.  Like either MU fans refuse to park there, don't know about it, or there are more cheap Bucks' fans?

My guess is that it will probably be that way for many games this first season, with quite a few people showing up more to see the new digs than the game.

Unfortunately, that was the 3rd time we'd been to the Chalupa in 7 days.  Kinda tired of it.

My wife, bless her, picked up 8 Palermos pizzas and got 4 free Bucks tickets because she knew I'd never pay to actually watch a Bucks game.    Deal is still going:  https://www.nba.com/bucks/palermos-on-pack

Free tickets, parked for free, bought nothing, spent $0.00.    Suck on that, Edens and Lasry.

Yeah... but now you have to eat 8 Palermos pizzas.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Or you have 8 frisbees.

Or the kids eat 8 pizzas, and mom and dad go out to dinner, because we are terrible.

Geez, what happened in the UTEP thread?  Did someone go on a rant?  Was the banhammer deployed?

I have to admit, I always chuckle when I see a thread locked, especially when it's something as a straightforward topic as the UTEP thread. I always immediately read the thread to see what happened. I wish I could get an alert to my phone when a thread has been locked.

Honestly I do the same thing. Sometimes there are threads in the superbar that I avoid like the plague...until I see that it has been locked. It's like slowing down to watch an accident.

We're here to entertain!

And kick the ball back into play somewhere else.

It's like seeing a boot on a car. Always entertaining...as long as it's on someone else's car.

I only read the last page of UTEP... that was pretty sad.  Threads like that should be deleted, not locked.

You guys got me interested to see what happened as well.  Page 5 of that thread was shrunken to about 25% of its normal length for me because only 9 of the 24 posts did NOT read:

"You are ignoring this user. Show me the post. "

I apparently make good choices.

Free food for life at Arby's.

So Topper, when you moving to Chandler?

They gave that to a 97-year-old man because at worst it'll be a decade of free food. Someone as young and vibrant as Topper would be hitting that well for generations to come, and with his Arby's dedication, likely driving them out of business in the process.

Nihilist Arbys' brain just exploded.  Life is suffering,  but arby's for life is pure ecstacy.
