At the end of their college careers.

Ted, you are so right.  If MU could recruit a kid like your picture and stay 4 years instead of a year and a half, only kid I know about that left during the season to sign
a pro contract, MU for sure would have a Top 5 class.  That year it was Chones, Allie and Lackey, now that was a #1 recruiting class.  Lets see if they get Mane and the
other 3 commits stay for more than a year or two.  Chones leaving early probably left that class below 50 with only 2.

Grading of classes needs to be done at end of recruiting period. Adding Mane would definitely improve overall grade.

This^.......................is obvious

Thank you for pointing that out.

All we have to do is get Wojo to raise a reasonably talented son, and also get most top programs to be reluctant to recruit black kids, as was the case decades ago, and maybe we can return to those glorious recruiting classes.

Not far. Without Mane, I could see something in the teens. With, high-single digits...

I'm not sure how much Mane even helps. The 247 Composite has him as a 3-star, largely because some services don't rank international players. He'd move us up, but our class would probably be better than the rankings.

EDIT: For now on 247, Mane would move us up from 12 to 9.

MU needs talent, it loses their 2 top players, need 2 of those 4 to make a difference, that is all that matters.  The big missing point, is can Wojo change the offense to the talent coming in.

Of all the things I worry about.... Wojo's ability to put together a good offense isn't high on the list.

Ahh, so exactly what I said :)

IMO, recruiting ranking are great if you are in the top two or three. If outside the upper tier it really is not known until the kids play in college. That said, based on what I have seen and heard, the incoming class, plus Mane, is a job well done by Wojo and his staff.

Wojo and Mane.

Some Scoopers complain about how "plain vanilla" Wojo is, but he must have a pretty good sales pitch to recruits.

For a bland forty-something, Wojo's kicks game is pretty strong

He does.  Especially to the most highly regarded:  Come to MU and you will be able to showcase your offensive skills, with my patented:  Ultimate Green Light.  Also known as Emerald City in some circles.

Close the deal Wojo!

No mention of MU from DaRon Holmes:

Strange since we are visiting DaRon Holmes today. Also he came on an Official Visit to madness.

Goose

He was on a staff that coached Kobe and that should get some kids interest. He may or may not be too vanilla, but he has a pretty good list of players he has been associated with that he can brag about.

Strokin 3s

Man, Holmes has some long arms.  Smaller players in that video, but he blocked a ton of shots.

Being from Omaha, I reached out about Hunter Sallis to an old classmate from high school who does a ton of great work for local HS and Creighton hoops: he seems to think it's a 2-horse race between Kansas and Gonzaga.  But still like seeing us monitor that relationship.
