Keep an eye on Jalen Warley (2021).  6-5 G out of Pennsylvania.   He went from unranked to 28th on Rivals.

Marquette has been mentioned with him in the past.

MU needs talent, it loses their 2 top players, need 2 of those 4 to make a difference, that is all that matters.  The big missing point, is can Wojo change the offense to the talent coming in.

We need to see the Koby that takes over when Markus isn't there - like after Markus got injured in the Xavier game - for the entire year.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Warley is one of those guys that might really be a high-value. He was a smallish fringe top-100 guard who had a growth spurt and now projects as a big point guard. Kind of a mini-Anthony Davis in that regard.

How much does this matter in terms of recruiting?  Do we tend to get more guys who played for Nike AAU teams because we are Nike?  Or is it really only important to the big names who will get the shoe contracts?

2021 point guard TyTy Washington will also be playing U17 for Team WhyNot with Holmes. Washington picked up a Marquette offer a few months ago in November.

Played with Justin Lewis in EYBL.  High academic level.

Scored 45 points in the first half of a recent game, including 11 for 12 three pointers. A super quick off of the bounce pull up shooter mid range out to 3 point line. He also had several recent 30 plus point games.

Georgetown, Stanford, Seton Hall, Vandy, Maryland, among those besides MU that have previously been recruiting him.

Conway has an impressive highlight real.  IMO, best I've seen of the 2021 PG targets for MU.

Others I have watched: Tyrese Hunter, Stevie Mitchell, and TyTy Washington.

I don't know Ryan Conway and haven't seen a quote from him, so I don't want to say he patterns his game after Markus.  After watching the video's, the way he moves with and without the ball to get in position to score may be as close to a Markus Howard as anyone playing high school basketball this year.  The range is Markus and Rowsey like and that will be a huge selling point for Wojo.

I thought we didn’t recruit Wisconsin kids any longer.   ::)

I think both will have good college careers, but I’d be very surprised if they were at MU.

Sign em both up. Need program guys who know their role. Can’t have 13 guys who all think they should start from day one.
