I don't know about that.  If you're a good young coach, there is no reason to stay somewhere like UWM for a "long time".  Their loss, he has Mike Daum at SDSU, bout to make his 3rd straight NCAA, and likely will jump this year to a bigger job.  Nebraska maybe?

Symir is a Big East bodied-guard in the Nova style, with the skill set to go with it.  I think he signifies how MU is evolving its recruiting strategy--both in athleticism and geography.

One important consideration is the kids in Symir's league are generally older and physically mature. So all the more impressive given that he is not necessarily old for his grade .
