Mark Miller is one of the few times I listen, because he wants to be right and so he doesn't be on a horse til its decided.

Not sure if this is totally accurate. He has been right on a few, but IIRC, he has said that he will make educated guesses based on recruiting activity before he's actually "in the know".

Let's hope he's in the know on this one. If nothing else, Dain Dainja is my favorite name ever.

Agreed, he generally makes highly educated picks (not saying he's flawless) but this is a great sign! Would love to lock up Dainja to seamlessly transition from Morrow for Theo's last year then start dominating as a soph when Theo's gone

Yes, Miller really knows his stuff, though typically for Wisconsin recruits IIRC. This is still a good sign for us imho.

If true, Marquette has really tapped into that Minnesota center pipeline.

Daing, it would be great if Mark Miller's right on this one!

Adding Dainja wtih Torrence would be huge for the Burnett/Strawther/Johnson/Garcia contingent. A clear view of the high level the PG/C combo they'd play with makes it easier to commit with the vision they're being sold more tangible (assuming they like what they see...)

Happiest Scooper if he signs would be warriorchick....

we would have our own entry for best name in college b-ball.

I just want him to guard an opponent named 'Will Robinson.'

I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

They all should be, there's a Lost in Space reboot on Netflix.

Good news, there was also a Netflix reboot last year (and the Tim Allen movie in the 90s)

Ethan Morton scored 40 last night to lead his team to the WPIAL championships this weekend.  Archie Miller was in the crowd, witnessing his first good basketball game all week.

40 points is third on the all time WPIAL Playoff scoring list.  No. 1 belongs to none other than Marc Marotta, who put up 48 in 1980.

Mr. Sand-Knit

Lets hope Minnesota keeps losing nothing better than recruiting against an NIT team.

Oops sorry recruiting gurus i forgot roster compisition really makes the most difference in recruiting.

I said a long time ago that one day all the talent in Minnesota will stay home. I thought the exodus was going to stop when Tubby came to town....but it didn't. As long as kids are leaving the state, Wojo can show what we've done with Sacar and Theo. Keep riding that train!

Marquette was in to see the leading JUCO scorer in the nation yesterday, Sean McNeil. Also mentioned in this TTU article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/wreckemred.com/2019/02/19/texas-tech-basketball-offers-top-juco-scorer-sean-mcneil/amp/

This sounds like the type of player Wojo might want to fill a Markus-sized gap.  I'm concerned.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Are they sure McNeil would be ready to go next season? He's only a freshman now. Some JUCOs graduate in a year but most need two years.

Not sure, but he may have been a full qualifier out of high school (like DJO) who went JUCO to improve his offers.

He is the "hottest" kid on the recruiting trail.....Has like 30 offers.....And yes....next year.....with 3 years of eligibility......

And yes.....That speaks to the Markus situation......

I kind of found that to change my view a little bit if Markus is coming back.....

Markus is a smart kid who will factor all the information and make a great decision and we should support him either way.....
