Joey disappeared during the 8 1/2 minute stretch when IU went from down 2 to up 15:

2 missed layups, 1 turnover, 1 rebound, 2 made FTs.

Sunday, he was the best player on an out-manned team.     They need Malik Hall back.    They need everybody to get healthy.   Without Joey, it would have been a whuppin a lot sooner.

Fair enough. Thanks for your perspective.

First time I watched an entire MSU game this year. I agree with Tower that he was the least of their problems.

If Kolek was at PG for MSU, Joey would have had 30 points. Wide open for 3s all game. Alas, no one to pass him the ball.

Seems he keeps finding himself in that predicament.

Sam, who had seen his playing time decrease substantially during a month-long shooting slump (.294 from 3), finally saw the ball go through the net more consistently last night. He played 19 minutes and scored 13 points, most coming before garbage time when the game was still close. He was 3-for-6 from 3. The Celtics had their 9-game winning streak snapped by Orlando, a bad team that weirdly is 3-1 against the team with the NBA's best record.

Kind of like when the raptors (who finished 21-61) beat the 72-10 bulls in 95-96.

Yep. Crazy things happen in a long season ... although the same crazy thing doesn't usually keep happening to the same team!

Sam had an 0-6 in 25 minutes against the Heat . I wonder if that shoulder he hurt last year is giving him trouble

Sam went back to restricted minutes . However he performed a bit better shooting 2-4 from 3 against the Knicks

Joey contributed to a Spartan win over The Hawkeyes

Piece about Joey on FS1 prior to the Sparty Iowa game.  Fluff, but nice.  In conjunction with an article on mlive where Izzo offers to meet on a street corner to fight the people on social media savaging his players.  The implication being Sissoko and Joey.

Sam with 1 minute and nothing to show for it in the Celtics loss to the Suns.
