Wow. Is there a max balance they'll pay that on?

https://www.cit.com/cit-bank/bank/savings/

Not aware of any max, but you need 25K to start it.

According to your link, that's not correct.  It says "minimum balance of $25,000 or $100 monthly deposit."  The "See how" link also says, "Minimum balance of $25,000 or $100 monthly deposit. $100 minimum opening deposit."

Thanks. I think I'm gonna toss $100k in there this week.

Yes, thank you.  I went for the $25K minimum route.

Just be aware their online system is a little clunky compared to other banks and be prepared to have to authenticate with a phone / text multiple times.

CIT Bank paying about 2.4% at the moment.

2.4 beats the next highest I was aware of (2.25 @ Synchrony, FWIW)

You can get 2.36% from Citibank. $500 minimum deposit to avoid a monthly fee.

I'm pretty sure I see what you did there.

Do be aware that rates for the CIT account (and all others being discussed here) can go down at any time without any advance notice, and almost surely will if the Fed lowers rates next month as expected.

They obviously can go up, too ... and they had been until the Fed turned dovish a few months ago.

If by "at any time without any advance notice" you mean "after the current Evaluation Period, as defined."

There is actually a very specific, defined day that resets occur for the CIT Savings Builder.

If I'm Friday they decided they wanted to change my rate, they'd be SOL for 4 weeks. #LockedIn

Put a spoon in between your eyelid and eyeball. No joke. That's how The Cousins on Breaking Bad said they did it.

Autographs for adults.

Unless something has specific sentimental value (a Marquette fan getting Butch Lee to sign '77 FF program, for instance), I don't really get it.

Nose, lip and eyebrow piercings

my wife has a nose piercing, I dig it. Not the bull ring between the nostrils though. That I don't get.

I didn't know eyebrow piercings were still a thing. I remember a guy on my floor in McCormick who got one and it promptly got badly infected and he looked like he had a golf ball over his eye.

don't get the pierced tongue...well, i do, but what one goes thru for that one.  i heard it hurts like a beach, tongue swells up for days, can't eat(or that either) for a while.  then infection, chipped up teeth, etc all for a little whoo ha?  i'm seeing fewer and fewer of them, but i guess when you're a ute and ya meet someone with one of those little balls bouncing around in their mouth, it's like, oh, you're a big fan of jacque cousteau...cool.

then there's the split, serpent tongue thing...ho boy

ZFB has his nips pierced. Says it goes over very well at the bathhouse.

I don't get ear hair on the outside of your ear. Why would I have a hair grow 4 feet overnight from the back of my effin ear????

when he was a freshman in college in the early 2000's my brother told my cousin and me he was thinking of getting a tongue piercing. We immediately reminded him of the Chris Rock bit on tongue piercing and he never spoke of it again.

Any sort of body modification that cannot be undone I do not get...and I say this as someone with a tattoo. I can easily cover it or even remove it. A hole in my ear or that tongue thing you're referring to, well, I have to imagine that's a little more difficult to reverse.

So now you do, sort of.
