You don't seem to understand the thread.  This isn't supposed to be a list of "things that suck."  It's a list of things that some people like but that you don't "get".  Nobody likes some of the things you listed.

But we are obviously smarter humans than those who do watch reality shows, so why wouldn't we point it out?

Definitely did not get Lost. Tried watching it twice. Never got past the second episode. I literally "didn't get it."

Grease ... a lot of the music was/is catchy. And you have to remember that when it came out Travolta was extremely, extremely popular. My girlfriend at the time LOVED him.

I also think that for a certain age kid at the time -- say, 11-16 year olds -- their parents were duped into thinking it was "wholesome entertainment" and let them watch it. But it actually is quite raunchy -- filled with innuendo and more.

my mom got my little sister into Grease and Grease 2. A lot of LONG drives in the car with those cassettes playing.

you have just described my wife. She runs it every year, 5K, 10K, and half marathon in 3 days. Dressed like a princess. I prefer Epcot, a drink at each country

As the person who started this -- and specifically started it with a reference to the Stones -- I wouldn't say that I "dislike" them.  I just find them...meh.  My reaction to the stones is, "this is an all-time classic band?  Really?"

i like some of their stuff, but recently downloaded some live stuff on my phone and it sounds like any band playing their stuff live.  very simplistic and wedding band sounding

This is 100% correct, closest you should get to the strip is Fremont Street. Lots of fun stuff around there if you avoid the Strip
