I did as you recommended.  This might come as a surprise to you, but I...didn't get it.

Thanks for trying.

Bourbon

Every aspect of pop culture whether that's music, MTV reality shows, or following the Kardashians

Catcalling (has it ever worked? Even once in a trillion?)

The Departed

95% of rap

video games except the original smash bros

This is the only list that makes me upset.  Bourbon, rap, video games and the departed are all great.  I don't get you sir :)

Coffee has come a long way in the last 25-30 years.  But I can understand it's not for everybody, just like IPAs aren't for me.

My wife drinks decaf for health reasons, too.  She used to drink regular.

Another thing that I don't get is Monty Python.

Also, how do so many people not like the Stones? That's truly baffling, such a wide range of genres and they made maybe the greatest album of all time in Exile on Main Street.

Bourbon is too sweet for me, scotch, Japanese, and Irish all above it.

Rap makes zero sense to me  when you have white kids driving nice SUVs in the extremely far out, wealthy suburbs singing about living on the streets and shootings. That or the absurdly graphic sex songs. Then it got even weirder stealing old school punk fashion and claiming it as it's own. Just don't get it's appeal for more than a few hype tunes that used to be on at the boxing gym and some nostalgic 90s/early 2000s tunes.

The Departed I hate mainly because it made Dropkick Murphys popular, id been seeing them since 2003 when you could name everybody at the show.

Video games ive got no reason just not my vibe.

I prefer to call his voice "expressive."

You're a mom. Listen to Neil's song "Here for You" and tell me it doesn't make you mist up a little.

Not sure I have ever heard it.  I tend to change the radio station if I hear his voice.
Have some patience, FFS.

I like rye whiskey a lot because it is basically bourbon but not as sweet so you can give that I try.  I hate scotch and have tired "good ones" so there you go.

There is rap other than gangster rap.

I didn't think about the dropkick murphys, that is a vaild point

I've tried a couple ryes and do agree with your point that they're less sweet. There's a couple that i have back in Chicago but moreso for cocktails. Different strokes

The thing about Scotch is that the varieties are so different that they are not even remotely the same thing.  I really like some Scotch, but really hate others.

Running marathons

I ran my first and only marathon in April, got under 4 hours and I will never do better than that so like the fat kid in dodgeball I'M OUT!

The two weeks following were awful and it was such a time commitment prior to train myself up for it and I'm a guy who generally averages 20-25 miles a week as part of my normal work out routine. I can't believe people do marathon's more than once.....I wanted to cut my own legs off with a dull spoon the next day and forget taking stairs for like a week.

Queen

You shut your f'ing mouth. Their music and especially Freddie Mercury should be an f'ing international treasure.

another one: the re-emergence of short shorts for men. I'm not talking the daisy dukes one might see at L.A. Cage or Boys Town in Chicago but the Martha's Vineyard straight leg shorts that are like 7 inches long. Give me shorts that come to my knee or give me death.

Maybe "Galway" meant "The Queen". Would be an Irish thing to do!

Don't hedge your bets Galway.  Stick to your guns.  Queen is terrible and ridiculous.  Their songs are ridiculous.  The only good one is Under Pressure, because of Bowie, and Vanilla Ice.

Can I add people who are weirdly proud of not watching reality tv to the list? Like it's some badge of honor
