i'll give ya 3 of them-reed, spieth and schauffele.  can't tell ya the other 3 until after game time cuz then i ain't sharing the jackpot with anyone ;D

spieth is spittin jealous of patrick's win/adulation from last weekend.  he's going to be on fire.  then, just like the ryder cup, reed is gonna be on his ass shot for shot

Thinking about going on Friday. Never been there, any tips on which hole/area to camp out at for the entire day?

Have zero interest in following one specific golfer, just want a nice view of the green somewhere.

wait...sounds like i should be getting a little more than your $10.  if i lay $10 on that line, shouldn't it be worth ? mius the juice of course ;)  seems as though jordie is starting to get it a little.  his competitive nature isn't going to allow him to finish the season the way he started it

Ok, here’s my lineup- spieth Fowler reed schaffele  keegan and harry v

Not off to a bad start  but need Harry to play spoiler. Only 6% took him. Patrick made some unbelievable up and down saves. Keegan gotta show us some 2018 magic. Rickie’s babe either got to leave him alone for the night or wash the dimples off his pro v’s.  Xander will be Xander

With the lightning strike to the hotel where several of the players and officials were staying..... what would have happened if JT had been unable to make his tee time due to his clubs and clothes being inaccessible due to fire?     Phil tweeted quite a bit about it, but JT was staying there, too.     That would have been both awesome and terrible.

Eaglewood, the hotel where this happened, is where my wife and I stayed the night of our wedding. Knowing that hotel, Mickelson was in the room my wife and I had, it’s the only room on the top floor.

And they say that lightening doesn’t strike twice in the same place...

I went Sunday and had a very nice viewing experience.  Prior US opens, Westerns and PGA’s I had mixed up following a group with staying in one spot for a while.  This time I was in a corp hospitality tent on the 13th green.  245 yard par 3 that was playing 255 with the pin all the way in the back.  We grabbed first row right behind the flag - 10 yards away.  We watched every 3some come through, and we saw some great shot making - difficult pitches from close in rough and lots of bunker shots.  Best group was the last group, with 2 birdies and Finau the closest rimming his put out.  Only one ball in the water all day. Most interesting observation was that until the last group, everyone mis-read the break of one particular putt—probably 20 guys failed to see the extent of the break.

Should Tiger pick himself for the President's cup?

Agreed.   He hasn't done anything since April and he doesn't seem healthy.   I think he is too competitive to make himself the spectacle and possibly hurt the team with poor play.

I am a big fan of Tiger. However, no I do not think he should pick himself for Presidents cup. Better to preserve the limited number of swings he has in his career for the majors and other key events he chooses to play.
Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

If you are at an event, and they tell you to take cover from the weather, listen.    I hope and pray the initial reports are accurate and none of the injuries are life threatening.

we were at sentry world a few years ago when they blew off the weather horns as a storm was approaching.  we could see it on our phone apps.  even after it had passed, they would not let anyone back out on the course until their lightning strike detector showed all was clear.  maybe someone knows what the standard is, but it had to do with lightning strikes within a certain radius of the course

Not sure if you're joking or not ... but this actually could be what's happening.

If you are at an event, and they tell you to take cover from the weather, listen.    I hope and pray the initial reports are accurate and none of the injuries are life threatening.

I covered the 1991 U.S. Open at Hazeltine, where a half-dozen or so people were struck by lightning and one guy was killed. Bleachers collapsed, hurting many, and there was a mini-stampede of people trying to escape the storms, hurting others.

It was a nasty scene, and I've been a lot less brave in lightning storms ever since.

100% what is happening.  Its been the source of the majority of his injuries ever since they started popping up.

Between the early male pattern baldness and the connective tissue injuries, one could form a hypothesis.
