I gotta rant here. Is anyone else sick of the people who post "it's (insert year) why do we still have (insert perceived injustice here)" and then feel like they've made a sound logical argument or an enlightened statement? I've been seeing people so this for like 10 damn years and it's driving me insane. The year is always dynamic and there's always a perceived issue. People in the year 300ad could've said "it's the year 300 why do we still crucify people? We're better than that". Saying it's the year X doesn't somehow qualify the year or period as any more enlightened than previous years! People who say this crap drive me insane.
