Mrs. 82 and I were in Chicago this past weekend visiting our son, his wife and our new twin grandsons. We needed to watch the Panthers game in London on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. It was on the NFL Network, which our son does not get, and we were having trouble finding a place to watch it. Finally, my daughter found a place called The Piggery on Irving Park and Ashland -- mostly a sports bar, but they also serve breakfast. The food was much better than I expected, and I loved the $5 Bloody Mary special.

Why am I talking about this? Because the Bloody Mary was topped with a skewer that included pepperoni, pickles and cheese curds! Delish!!

Speaking from Indy, I would love if someone here attempted a Milwaukee knock-off. Here, they just put some cheap mix in a glass with a pickle or celery. No sidecar. The Marys considered good here wouldn't even move the needle in Wisconsin.

Amateur night. Unless there is so much garnish on your Bloody Mary that you don't have to order food, it's not in the same league as an MKE Mary.
