Did the Onion hack Business Insider, or has Elon Musk finally gone totally off the farm?
He has most definitely been trending in that direction.

The old sign from National Liquor Bar is for sale.  Should we take up a collection?

Have some patience, FFS.

A classic oasis back in the day. When it was noon in Europe, time to imbibe

Just in Vegas, they had a catchy little slogan for their in room beverage menu-

Ya can't drink all day if ya don't start in the morning...true dat, but heed no more🤪

In the true spirit of the NM thread (and what isn't?), a UNM player blowing a TD by starting to celebrate early.

Beware the ides of October.

Also, happy National Cheese Curd Day.

Ever face the bitter disappointment of stale curds that don't squeak?

Recruitment watching is the WORST!   Yet it is something I can't not do.

It's like a 6 month long game where few people have any control and all any of us have to pass the time on our end is bicker about potential outcomes.  5 months in, we've run out of new arguments.   Please oh please let the new season come NOW!    :'(

Wow - 58 penalty strokes in two rounds of golf. That'll kind of hurt your chances of winning.

Mrs. 82 and I were in Chicago this past weekend visiting our son, his wife and our new twin grandsons. We needed to watch the Panthers game in London on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. It was on the NFL Network, which our son does not get, and we were having trouble finding a place to watch it. Finally, my daughter found a place called The Piggery on Irving Park and Ashland -- mostly a sports bar, but they also serve breakfast. The food was much better than I expected, and I loved the $5 Bloody Mary special.

Why am I talking about this? Because the Bloody Mary was topped with a skewer that included pepperoni, pickles and cheese curds! Delish!!

Unless they had a Cow sidecar, it's just another MKE Bloody knock-off.  Yawn

Speaking from Indy, I would love if someone here attempted a Milwaukee knock-off. Here, they just put some cheap mix in a glass with a pickle or celery. No sidecar. The Marys considered good here wouldn't even move the needle in Wisconsin.

Pathetic

Amateur night. Unless there is so much garnish on your Bloody Mary that you don't have to order food, it's not in the same league as an MKE Mary.

Ok .. I think it's time to show my boys a Halloween/horror type movie.

Halloween?
Nightmare on Elm Street?
Poltergeist?
Exorcist?
Scream?
Child's Play (Chucky)?

Admittedly, I haven't watched any of those movies in 30 years.  I fear they haven't "aged" well.

A sidecar is a cocktail.

The beer you get with your bloody is either called a chaser / beer chaser or a snit (if it comes in a glass).

Personal favorite beer chaser is the High Life pony.
But I like to throw handfuls...

Rheinlander pony's are also acceptable in WI. May vary from state to state.

But as you said - no go to Spotted Cow.
