Peppermint Patty was the chick in high school that liked you as a friend, but as soon as you starting to think it was more than that, it would have gotten weird.

Speaking of patty melts, did anyone else find it frustrating that Charlie Brown was always so focused on the little red-haired girl (who never noticed him) that he was oblivious to the fact that Peppermint Patty would have done it with him in a heartbeat?
Peppermint Patty swung both ways?

My go to patty melt place allows you to substitute mushrooms for onions.  That is where my mixup occurs.

Most just call that a mushroom swiss burger lol

Yep.  And Peppermint Patty was okay that you had a GF because she was just a buddy.  What I can't recall is what the GF thought about PP.

Everyone knows that Peppermint Patty was a lesbian.  She wore sandals, had unkempt hair, and Marcie always called her "Sir".

She and Velma from Scooby Do would have been good together.
Have some patience, FFS.

By the way, Sally Brown was hot. Total missed opportunity by Linus.

He’s probably living alone in a box under a freeway, oblivious to how great his life could have been if only he had seen what was right in front of him.

Speaking of which...

At what point do members of a rock band become old enough that it’s kinda strange people still go to their concerts?

I get that. And I get that they’re still making bushels of cash. I just think it’s kinda strange that people pay to watch a bunch of 70-something guys on stage.

This is going to be met with violent resistance but......Pearl Jam is the Red Delicious of grunge/90's alt rock.  I get why they are popular and that a bunch of people really like them but i never really understood why.  Maybe it's just me not being a jam band fan.

Ten is fantastic album that holds up extremely well but I'm lost after that.

Speaking of albums that have held up from that era, I listed to Rage Against the Machine's self titled album during my workout today and that is an album that is more relevant today than 25(ish) years ago

My question is at what number of "replacement members" does the band actually cease to exist?

I can't believe they kicked Lindsey Buckingham out of Fleetwood Mac!

But Fleetwood and both Macs are still members.  Buckingham wasn't even original.

On the other hand, the Yardbirds are apparently still active.  But Keith Relf is dead and Clapton, Page and Beck all left before 1970.

You raise an excellent question.  For me it's not so much 'how many' but rather 'who'.  I personally wouldn't see FM without Lindsey but they are absolutely still Fleetwood Mac.  Some bands have said they'll never perform without all their members.  Geddy/Alex will never go out without Neil.  I respect that.

So that's 3 original members then?
