Twin Cities is on its way to banning drive thru's.  How politically incorrect is that?????  Discriminating against the Arby's customer base.

Disagree. Arby's is best experienced in an orange, fake wood & plastic booth within the confines of their splendid dining rooms. The wafting of additional beef & cheddars while consuming your own is simply magnificent.

What's the reasoning?

Maybe they're afraid Keith Millard will move back there and drive his car (literally) into a Hardee's again.

Also backed by Prius.  I can see this being modified to only electric and hybrid cars allowed in a drive thru.

Today's random fact:  Darren Sharper, Michael Cohen, and Billy McFarland (of Fyre Festival fame), are all serving in the same federal prison.

Can't imagine Cohen ever getting a chance to pitch.

Looks like it's a tree-hugger thing against cars, idling in the line before picking up those beef n cheddars.

I drove our new work car this week.  The damn thing turns off when you stop at stop lights (and, presumably, at the drive through).  It's annoying.

Existing drive thrus would be grandfathered.

now this is getting really weird unless you figure they are out lawing natural gas in "some communities".  where do they think their electric comes from?  trees??  actually, as everyone well knows, it comes from coal and natural gas fired plants, solar and hydro-electric.  so, whatever...if i were a business, i'd be packin it up...time to go home

Agreed. I can turn it off on my car, and I usually do it when I expect stops to be short.

The only reason Captain Crunch is still in production is because moms are accidentally buying it instead of Captain Crunch Berries.

But Captain Crunch is the seed from which Crunch Berries were spawned.

In the mail today...

FREE ENTREE
and
BOGO ENTREE

from Panda Express.

I've only had it once. It was Leeann Chin for my Twin Cities familiar folks. Didn't pay much attention to pricing though... need to.

When I worked at McDonald's (not that many years ago), I'd drive through the Burger King drive-thru after work with great frequency.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

I believe Arby’s is categorized as a luncheon establishment.

They do, though peanut butter Captain Crunch was even worse.

Peanut Butter Crunch is the bomb!

My favorite cereal as a kid.  Also, my and my friends' favorite drunk food at MU - eating it straight out of the box after coming home from the bars.  One of my guy friends even had an autographed picture of Smedley the Elephant tacked up on his refrigerator.
Have some patience, FFS.

I always used to compare the original Cap'n Crunch to the old-time SNL bit about Quarry cereal.

Eating a bowl of CC would leave one's palate a mess of blood and skin.

Just visited my daughter and son-in-law in Seattle, and he actually ate some Peanut Butter Crunch for breakfast one day. I took a handful of it for my first taste of it in at least 30 years ... not effen bad!

Speaking of Quaker Oats cereals, who remembers Quisp and Quake?

Ah, the good old days when breakfast cereal could list "sugar" as its first ingredient and no one cared.
