Herro was the one that got away.

What???

Why didn't you say something earlier?

Curtis only performed well this summer because other EYBL teams doubled and tripled Herro every game. That is why the lack of quality offers. Whitnall plays Riverside on Saturday if anyone wants to go watch Herro take apart Curtis at the TP classic. Herro has owned Ramey from the very early youth level till now. Herro was the one that got away.
Well that's your opinion, but what does Tommy think?
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

News is a couple weeks old at this point but thought I would share. Ramey broke his wrist during his HS's "preseason jamboree." Expected to miss a month of the season.

Even when discussing a different recruit, Cheesy has to post something about his boy.  Give it up.  He's not going to MU.  He couldn't play nice with others so the coaching staff moved on.  Oh, and look in the mirror and tell Tommy that too so we don't have to see his post, hey?

BREAKING: Virginia Tech's entire recruiting class just decommitted.

I don't think the Virginia Tech coaching staff is wringing their hands over the 2019 decommitments. They have been trying to upgrade the class.

Yeah was about to post this. Seems strange the whole class decommitting.

2019?  how many were committed from that class?

Three. Two of the players are twin brothers. All three are 3 stars ranked in the mid 100s to low 200s. All three are from North Carolina and committed on the same day. Seems like the twins and the third guy might have been friends who decided to commit and then decommit together. No idea why but the optics of three leaving at the same time isn't great

Gee, I wonder why the Hausers wouldn't want to play with Tyler Herro?
Why? Because he has a pro-like turnaround or that he put up 40+ pts or that he willed his team to victory?
Kid can flat out ball. It's too bad he was recruited only to be a practice player at Kentucky.

Okay so that is the first time I have seen highlights of Herro and he 100% reminds me of Jon Scheyer in high school, it really is uncanny.

Great player, same height and build, unbelievable shooter, pretty much carries his team and sees double and triple teams all while being an absolute prick on the court that never shuts up. It really is uncanny how much the two are alike.

I'm sure Herro will have a pretty successful college career, have to wait and see if it will be as good as Scheyers, but very similar playing styles.

He looks like a great player. No denying that. But frankly, the kid looks like he would rub a lot of people the wrong way and I think Kentucky is probably a good place for him. That would have worn thin at UW really quickly.

Very talented, though.

He's 6'3", 220 and last year shot 41.2% from three while putting up great numbers. He's off to a decent start this year, averaging 13.3 ppg/3.5 rpg/4.3 apg. Persons can score at all three levels while doing a good job of creating for others without turning it over a ton.

Tayler Persons hit a three with 1.7 seconds left to punctuate Ball State's 80-77 upset win at Notre Dame. Finished with 24/5/3.
