All in on ramey, I assume nova won't go all in on Ramey just because Jahvon Quinerly decommited from Arizona and they were in his final 2 schools

Unless the ship has sailed, I would expect us to make a run at Courtney Ramey. If the ship has sailed, than we now have room for a mid-season transfer, a late bloomer, traditional transfer, or grad transfer. My guess is that only PGs and CGs need apply.

What about a juco transfer? People claim to want stability and to be in it for the "long haul" - well, 3 year players who were ready from day 1 (Buycks, DJO, JFB and Fulce (pre injuries) bring a lot more stability/success than grad transfers and high school players who leave before they can produce at anything near an elite level. The revolving door policy doesn't seem to = stability or success in the short or long term.

Wojo's background and history is not JUCO's.   It was one of the wedges between admin and Buzz.   It can be argued that if there was ever a time for a JUCO, this would be it.    However, I would be stunned if Wojo landed one.

Juan Anderson's Mixtape

Not much left in the juco ranks.  Looks to be especially weak at PG.

Honestly an accidental omission.  If there's a quality juco pg/cg who qualifies academically (were at a disadvantage because we don't accept phys ed credits) than by all means,  sign them up.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

TheREALwrk

I know he's not a PG which would leave us with a clear LACK of ball-handlers, but we were in Khavon Moore's (6-8 SF from Georgia, 4*) final 12 as of July 10th and nothing has changed. Anybody have any news on that kid?

You mean other than us landing a top-35 PF in Joey Hauser?

I didn't mean on our end, I meant on his end. Seems like nothing happened on the Moore side of things since the top-12 announcement.

As mentioned, Villanova has pushed very hard for Ramey this time around. Ramey has said now that he is out 6-8 weeks with a broken right wrist, he has more time to take more visits to schools.

He took a nosedive in the rankings. Not an impressive summer for Mr. Moore it would seem. My guess is that some of those offers might have cooled.

Okay...here's a quick rundown of some grad transfer candidates. Some I've already mentioned.

Maybe add Ria'n Holland from Mercer.  Played his Freshman year at Wichita State.  Shooting 57% from 3 this year.  Maybe a combo guard as he plays SG for Mercer.

Nice find, definitely looks like a quality candidate.

Okay guys, while the 'wish listing' is fine  ;D, I'd really like you guys to listen carefully for what might actually be going on.  We've have a blank list on the chart for '18 and need to populate it with some real targets.  Get busy boys.

This young man is a very good prospect for 2020.

Is Tyler Herro willing to decommit again?

Seriously tho...never seen Carlos play in person, but seems like a guy that is going to turn into a heck of a player on ETSU someday.  28 boards for a guard!? Wow.

Hes so underrated, 207 schools had interest in him only had 8 or 9 offers

Timing is everything.  Maybe we can convince Carlos to do a Rowsey in a couple of years.

Curtis only performed well this summer because other EYBL teams doubled and tripled Herro every game. That is why the lack of quality offers. Whitnall plays Riverside on Saturday if anyone wants to go watch Herro take apart Curtis at the TP classic. Herro has owned Ramey from the very early youth level till now. Herro was the one that got away.
