The most connected guy in the state posted that MU is out. Pretty sure we're just a third hat on the table for decoration.

Dangit that's a bummer...This thread got too hard to follow closely so thanks for the recap of the last 15 pages haha. Onto the next one....Would have been a huge recruit for the program. That stuff where people say Wojo and Stan unfollowed him right away....Must have been quite the visit....

If there's three hats, I doubt we're the one that gets picked to be decorative.

Who is the most connected guy in the state?  Not being smug asking for real.  I always rely on BigDaddy and do not subscribe to any pay site.  I know everybody reacted to what he said, but people were reluctant to post because it was behind a pay wall.

I think everyone is talking about Mark Miller but I'm not positive

Mark Miller.

Big Daddy changed his name back to 84.  Unless this is all some big conspiracy to surprise the hell out of us, I would say we are out on Grimes.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

Too late to offer him but i think Carlos Curtis is one of the most underrated players in the country. He is around 6'3 6'4 and he can do it all very versatile. Committing on november 17th I'm pretty sure

November 17 would be too late for signing during the early period.  While I'm not sure "one of the most underrated players in the country" is accurate, he may end up being a lot better than where he is pegged now.  I guess it all depends on if he wants to wait until the Spring.

I've updated the chart with Joey's news but I'm not taking down Grimes just yet as I don't want to be blamed for impacting the 'hat dance'.

No inside info but it is odd that there's been no announcement. KU seemed like a done deal. Wonder if he'll wait until spring.  If he does,  does that reopen the door?

I made it a point to check him out after you mentioned him earlier this year. Carlos has a complete game, excellent vision , athleticism, shot and can use both hands. Whatever team that will be signing him now is getting a bargain. I think if he waited to the final signing period he could end up going to a very good program that is in need a of a quality player, similar to how we got Greg Elliot .

"Complete Game?"  Is that code for "Great Neck?"

Either that or it's such a #donedeal that BD can move on to the next target.
Have some patience, FFS.

Unless I read that wrong there is nothing in there about a date that he is announcing. They just said he should sign in the early period. Clock is now ticking.

Now that you mention it he has a decent neck . Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Who knows he may team up with Kostas.

I'm sure you did.
Watched him play against Jeenathan, both are solid players.  Set forth below is an interview with Carlos. He is a level headed kid, who wants to go where he can actually play and is interested in engineering.

Looking forward to seeing how his season goes and where he ends up. It is too bad our 2018 dance card is filled. I think Carlos would be the type of kid who could help our program over the long term as we need to build that talent flow from the Milwaukee schools and also need to build a bridge back to good relations with Duane's Dad.

Rumor that Grimes could commit as soon as today. He tweeted out "Stay Tuned" this morning. That would allow him to sign his NLI. Tea leaves definitely pointing to Kansas.
