Eke is a perfect example of a red-shirt candidate, just needs to learn the game.  If MU is lucky enough to get a grad transfer big, then Eke might be able to sit out
a year.  It would do him a world of good.  If not, he will be in the rotation upfront.   Heldt, John, Eke and Hauser.  Eke can run and jump out of the gym.  He will be interesting to watch in 3 to 4 years.  John, Eke and the Hauser Boys.  Might be interesting upfront.

Just checked 247 cause I actively avoid doing any actual work at work, and wouldn't you know it, Evan Flood predicted Joey Hauser to MU this morning.

I would say the Hausers are pretty happy with what is going on with Sam.  Joey and Bailey would give Wojo a chance to spend this year working on a guard to
add to this and would have a great recruiting class.  The guard can get immediate playing time with Rowsey and Wilson graduating, so he has something to offer.
Bailey is an interesting prospect,  he was Reggie Miller skinny on the videos, but he is taking two years off right now, so will come in bigger just with maturity and
is he playing ball where ever he is, I have to believe he has to be, any ideas?  Will he have a summer at MU before his freshman year?  That would be a big help.
MU is getting bigger.  Two 6'9' kids.

That is why I was surprised Herro went to Wisconsin. The guard spot was wide open for him at MU.

Assuming status quo (which never actually happens, but we can pretend anyway) in two years, Heldt, Hausers, IkeEke, TJ, Bailey, Cain all over 6'7.    Going to need some guards.

Herro will have a chance to start there as well.  Trice at point, then Davidson or King.  Might be better than both those players and King can play
small forward so opportunity is there for him.  Even though they lose 4 starters next year, they will be fine in the future.  Move on

Hausers, plural, status quo?  I like it!
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Joey's ankle is a real problem.  I don't think he's playing yet.  I'm hoping that his injury forces some of the blue bloods to move on.  That coupled with Sam's success could bode well for MU!

Traci senior and Howard junior. So would be nice to get a frosh guard for the 2018-19 season.

Dodds mentioned in his public board that Bailey had "gained 15 lbs of good weight" since the mission. Assuming good weight means muscle than we are in great shape.

Does he mean "since the mission *began*"?  Because he is still on the mission right?

Rewatched this today. Still impressed. We should recruit more soccer players. Kid is big but has speed, motor, and grace.

I'll add Watson.  I'll hold off on Ramey unless folks get a real sense that we are in the running.  He's got the blue bloods offering and I've stated my desire to avoid 'hope and dream' guys.  Bur if it heats up at all, please chime in.  I especially want to be sensitive to the fact that as of this moment we have only one available slot for the year depending on what Wojo decides this Spring.

I have no clue if we are in the running but the staff must think so.....

Five-star guard Courney Ramey will have coaches from Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Marquette, Illinois & Ohio State at his game this evening.

It is all about playing time and it looks like he could start right away.  Howard might be the key to getting him if he visits.  At this early stage, might as well go
for it.

MuMark

Not sure about starting right away but sure would have a chance to play early.

I would think jr Howard and Sr Cheatham will be the starting backcourt.....but lots can change in 2 years

Folks,,,

Can you give an assessment of Suggs? Where do you think he shakes down from a rankings perspective?
