I just want to point out that an average player with a bad coach can become a very good player with a great coach.

If Tarris Reed came to Marquette, Dung would be critical

So your argument is UConn is widening the gap because they signed a guy who won't even start?

And you see this as an intelligent argument?

Potato brain, grammar school... yikes.
You fail to grasp, and you started the insults. BTW, the ESPN article called Reed the replacement for Clingan, so direct your name calling at them. But you cant resist. Alumni of what?

Yes, because he's the replacement for Clingan. It doesn't mean he's going to be anywhere near as effective as Clingan though.

Wojo was the replacement for Buzz.

Wojo was the replacement for Buzz.
And that presumes he can supplant Samson Johnson who was quite effective for UConn this past season.

3🫏 out of 5

Using ESPN's article without context is excellent comprehending skills and it's clear you couldn't name one thing Reed does well or doesn't do well.  No mention of the rectal area is disappointing.  Alumni of what has potential, though.

After reading about Hurley's coaching approach in the Athletic, I'm inclined to think that Hurley want's him there's a lot more to Reed than he showed at Michigan.

Probably going to get much more out of him but if we're going on what he did at Michigan, he wasn't very good.

I agree Hurley will maximize his talent.  Hurley is a damn good coach

Exactly - Reed may turn out to be really good, but to think he's a plug and play for Clingan is just silly.

Thanks for posting. Love this quote:

"What Marquette stands for, and their core values stand out to me. They trust each other and put a lot of confidence in the players and the young group. They recruit a lot out of high school and not much out of the transfer portal, so that stuck out to me. Having those guys with whom you can grow up and form bonds, I felt like there are good connections between the players and the coaching staff. Watching practice and seeing Shaka Smart get in there, I like seeing him being a part of the practice and bringing some energy. Getting the guys riled up was something I liked seeing up close."

Plus, used "with whom" correctly!

So maybe the next smarty pants to follow in Oso's and Stevie's footsteps.

You read the article, then applied your lack of understanding of what you read to the argument, kudos!

Probably not. Guard room is already loaded and they have a lot of 2025 targets.

If Kan$a$ can't afford him, it is unlikely that MU can.  Perhaps a good fit in Madison.

Wait. What? I've been told players pay Wisconsin for the privilege to play there.  Sorry, Mind Blown!

Early with the name misspelling.    Bravo.
