Does anyone know our committed 2023 recruits are playing?

Yes, I am aware they are playing.

Haha. Excuse my Kindle typo. The question is... Does anyone know how our committed 2023 recruits are performing?

Tre and Zaide are filling up the stat sheets. Haven't seen anything on Al yet
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

My impression is that Zaide and Tre could be more immediate contributors, but Al is the project.

Faisal's kid. His Dad was built like a tank. I remember an ILLINOIS at MU game back in the day. Faisal set a screen on an Illini guard, I think it was Richard Keene, and he looked like he had just run into a brick wall. Stood there dazed for about ten seconds. He also pestered and bodied Deon Thomas the entire game.

Several of the schools recruiting Abraham the most, have also offered his cousin and teammate Patrick Tgongba II.

Any idea who he's watching?

Would assume its for Sekou Konneh from STM.  Really raw but freaky athlete 6'8.  Not sure he is Marquette good but similar to Amadou and other forwards Shaka has recruited here.

Sekou Konneh and maybe Amari Mccrotty both have multiple d1 offers. Konneh has Iowa St interest. I think Konneh is the 2nd best in the state for 2024.

Maybe Shaka thinks Sekou would have impeccable Konnehctivity with this group?

Shaka and Haynes watching Kon tonight at the WBBY Shootout.  Gard too.

Why is Shaka watching Gard?

NBBomber

Because he only seems to recruit Gards.

Sekeo is long and athletic, skinny a Shaka type recruit, Kon looks like Ernie Gruenfeld, thick.  Great looking shot.  Juan Hernandez might be better in then both, nice looking shot, quick, hurt his ankle did not play much.

Sounds like a good fit in Shaka's system. He's young so there's a good chance he'll grow a couple inches more to 6'6".

Worcester Academy is stacked, as well, so neither Tre or Kayvaun are going to have big numbers. Of what little I could find on Tre, had 15 one game, 21 another, and was on the All Tournament team with his teammate (Duke recruit). I am sure it has been mentioned  before, but Worcester Academy has a great nickname.
