"I'll be looking for a place where I can fit in," Bol said. "Fit in with my physique and the way I play. I'll look closely at the style of play a school is playing. I don't want just to set screens all game; play only in the pick and roll. I want to be able to face up, maybe shoot it some."

7'2" but i don't want to set screens... good luck

Doesn't want to set screens all game (emphasis added). That said it also sounds like he doesn't want to be a traditional big, so that means lots of posters here won't like him.  ;D
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

And then show him all the clips of Oso actually being the tallest guy in America to handle the ball as much as he does!

Also,  Oso is third in the country in assists per game for players 6'9" or taller.  Only Coleman Hawkins on Illinois and Aly Khalifa on Charlotte average more.

And Oso's Assist/TO ratio is better than these two

Can you technically get around the scholarship limit by having players pay for school with NIL money?  Just have a booster pay $120,000 for a player instead of $60,000 in a wink, wink deal.

He will be transferring to his fourth school.  Started at Mercer, transferred to Utah Valley, transferred to Texas Tech where he hurt his foot and hasn't played all year.

I know someone who did that for tennis her Covid year to open a scholarship slot for an incoming recruit. This was not at MU. I'm not sure how common that is though.

I'm not an expert, but I think the scholarship rules are different for basketball and football than for all other sports.

Actually, he the one making dumb takes - how does he know the guy won't fit Shaka's style? Because he's white? Last time I looked so was Kolek.
LOL seriously, didn't even know he was a traditional and could care less.
