I missed on McBride. I knew McDowell had an AAU teammate MU was looking at too. Wasn't on that 247 list i was looking at probably why i missed him..


As for Thomas and Bear, I haven't heard much since last summer and fall from them regarding MU. Could be wrong though.

Thomas spoke about MU as one of his top schools earlier this month.

Marquette: "I watched them a lot this year and I think they did a great job especially in the first year for Shaka Smart. Making the tournament and everything, they've done a great job."

I like this kids attitude. in the article posted above, Carlton  diplomatically admitted he did not perform as well as he would have liked in the first live period . Don't see many kids willing to say that. My guess is he is young and may possibly reclassify to 2024.

An offer from Duke is still an offer from Duke, but with Coach K gone that offer isn't what it once was.

Duke just signed the first, second, and fourth ranked recruit in the class of 2022.  Not to mention the 21st, 26th (verbal commit but not signed), 65th, and 136th.  They (still) select, they don't recruit.
