McGee is Hunter's teammate at St Cats. He's been mentioned here several times (mostly by me, because I teach there).  The two are best friends.  McGee probably doesn't have high major talent but he does have high major intangibles.  Passing, defense, toughness. If we bring in Hunter, offering McGee a preferred walk on spot would make a lot of sense (he's a 4.0 student after all).

And if he goes to Western I'll be a big Leathernecks fan for the next few years.

Interesting... how does an academic scholarship work with respect to walk-ons? Is it even possible? Seems like this would pass the sniff test at least if it is.
