Not sure why the angst about Louisville and Jalen Terry. Maybe the land him but it's not like they've been on him that long. They switched focus to him about the same time we did. Like us, Lousiville recently lost out on their top PG target (Deivon Smith who ended up at MS State) and then started going after Terry.

In addition it is not like a sloppy seconds thing with us and Terry. We wanted him early on before he committed to MSU.

I'm not angsty about Louisville at all..I'm more concerned with the fact that it took MU awhile to contact him after his decommit. By that point, several others had already been in contact. Maybe that matters, maybe it doesn't.

How do you know when they 1st contacted him after the de-commit?

Also, bringing in the top rated recruiting class makes guys wonder about playing time, if guys don't go one and done.

I haven't been able to find anything linking MU to Jalen Terry other than the staff attending 1 game in the summer of '18. Obviously he played for The Family which I'm sure the staff saw many times, but we never offered.

Are you sure you aren't confusing him with Dalen Terry? I know Stan was heavily involved with that recruitment.

It wasn't the same day he de committed as far as I know. Others contacted him that very same day. MU came in after several others had already made contact, and that's based off published reports. Of when schools contacted etc.

I mean, If they don't get him, they don't. I'd rather have mane anyway, and quite frankly all my recruiting attention is on the big prize Garcia right now anyway. Once that recruitment is over, I will worry about others. HAVE to get Garcia.

I asked Tyrese Hunter today about his recruitment.  He told me that besides Marquette, Virginia and Texas A&M are looking at him (St. Cat's coach Bennett is cousins with Tony Bennett and worked with Buzz at MU, so no surprises there). 

"Of those, who do you like?"

No hesitation. "Marquette."

"You don't have to say that just because I was your teacher."

"I know.  I like them a lot."

Obviously, you have seen him play, what are your thoughts on him?  Mature physically, can shot, good point guard skills?  Will he be able to

I'm OK taking Zaire if we don't get any of the higher rated guards in 2020.  We already have Symir along with Koby and Greg as options at PG next year.  If we don't get anyone better than Symir, then why not take a shot with little Wade.

This. It would've been one thing for someone like Austin Rivers who was a legit 5 star but if you're likely just a college role player I'd try to avoid those expectations and cut my own path.
