Why would you want to take away an opportunity for a potential student athlete?

Classic recruiting thread discussion, guys.

My son has a class this semester with Dexter.  He is at every class, sits near the front, and participates on a regular basis.  I think Wojo has a different approach to kids/classes than other coaches do.

Maybe Jay Bee can answer better but this whole thing on playing  with the current IU recruits seems to have taken on a life of its own.  Leal and Galloway play for Indiana Elite.  To the best of my knowledge Garcia does not. Also, neither one of them are Top 100 guys.  Our two verbals are.

Correct - it's nonsense. Dawson has played with a million kids in different formats, and made friends, just like a million other kids.

D1 MN & Ind Elite are historically very cool with each other, but they definitely are very diff programs

So is this the part where you and I spend the next two pages bloviating over the merits of baked vs grilled fish?  I'm new to this. You'll need to walk me through this derailing thing.  Probably doomed to fail as I also prefer grilled.

My apologies for helping contribute to the off-topic BS.
So with Garcia and Mane both penciled for officials, and Kendall Brown having just taken his, is there anyone else we should keep a watch out for for either 2020 or 2021?  Suggs?  Polk?  Holmgren?  Hunter?

Microwave and smother it with ketchup.

I think Hunter and Polk are the names to watch for.  Holmgren will get a lot of looks from blue bloods but I'm sure the staff will do their due diligence on him

Nothing has moved on the Suggs front for quite some time. Given that he has already dubbed a nickname for the recruiting class he would be (expected to be) part of at Gonzaga, I personally feel that ship has sailed.

Holmgren has only visited Gonzaga so far. No real talks about his other visits scheduled.

Micawber (Mac) Etienne and DaRon Holmes already had officials at Madness.

Hunter Sallis got an offer recently, but nothing scheduled for anyone.

Seems kinda slow right now.

Remember, NCAA rules prevent a b-ball or football dorm.  These dorms MUST have at least 51% regular students, not student athletes.

Athletic trainer majors, team managers, men's basketball student staff, student kitchen staff...

I'm sure you could fill that other half with people associated with the program.

Sure, as long as they aren't scholarship athletes.

I suppose they could put only the hot babes in there and sell it as a recruiting tool....

The student kitchen staff could staff the late night grill, but only if they know to not put cream cheese on the bagels....
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

It is sad that it is the same 3-5 people that derail nearly every thread. I want to be one of those people. They are so darn exclusive.

I think it's the first time they will be visiting him. Not messing around sending full staff.

Staff reached out last week, not sure if it was posted here.

Love us visiting Terry.  Wojo isnt afraid to go after these guys! Love his stones and lack of fear.  What i hated about Deane and Crean, wouldnt even go after these guys

Deane didn't, but Crean certainly did.
