I like how hard Marquette is working the east coast. Just goes to show how dedicated this staff is to finding the absolute best fits for their program culture & winning expectations.

based on the fact that just about every player has been reposting the mubb account stuff and posting stuff of their own id say the only people that need to buy in seem to be doing so. if you don't like it/its annoying you seems like the simple solution would be to not follow their accounts?

we get it. you love the hausers and because the team isnt publicly sitting around crying over their departure you wont stand for it.

You're an idiot man. Nothing more to say.

Anywho - wojo was in to visit Jalen Suggs last night. Report is, Suggs isn't 100p sold nor 100p out.

Juzang reclassifies to 2019.   Visiting Kentucky on Monday after picking up scholie offer from them last week.
Villanova and Virginia may still be in the picture.    No mention of MU still a player.

My guess is if Kentucky, Villanova and UVA are "in" we're not.

Thank you for the info. I think Suggs will be tough to get away from Gonzaga. I think him and strawther are pretty close. Took an official together there some time ago.

After a strong Jr. season these schools will be following UAA top 5 scorer 2020 Tristan Maxwell at this weekends @UAassociation tourney in Kansas City. GA Tech, Providence, Florida, Pittsburg, Marquette, UCONN, Louisville, Miami, Houston, VA Tech, Butler. @Coach_Rick57

Don't think I've seen us mentioned with Maxwell before. 3-star combo guard from the Charlotte area.

As Duke, UNC, Kansas and Kentucky sit back and laugh. He's not going to any of those schools.

I'm not so sure. I think Gonzaga is the school to beat, even if the blue bloods get in late.

Honest question, when is the last time they got a top 10 kid? From their perspective it would be silly to go anywhere but one of those five schools. Reddish's freshman year couldn't have gone worse and he's going to be a lotto pick. Jones would have been a late first rounder and he was horrible offensively, especially considering what was around him.

They haven't, but Strawther is close with Suggs. They had a top-10 class last year & according to 247 currently have the #1 class for 2020. Few has been improving his recruiting results & the on-court results speak for themselves.

I spent a day with Rahim's dad a month or so ago.  We spoke about Marquette in general terms and college basketball overall, specifically his views on players from HS leaving to go to G League and the one-and-done rule.  He didn't talk about his son which is probably a good thing in the grand scheme of things with how recruiting, boosters, etc go.

Of the names listed here that I think we could realistically land my wish list would go:

1) Garcia
2) Jackson
3) Dainja
4) Morton
5) Sibley

I'd have Suggs 1, Johnson 2, and Burnett 3 but I think they end up at Gonzaga, Duke, and somewhere out west, respectively.

A lot of big names.  Hopefully we can land 3 of them and get them signed in November.
