Dawson Garcia official visit today. Neat.

That snuck up on us. He's near the top of my wishlist for 2020. Hoping he loves National Marquette Day.

So the tweet says he's on his official visit today. I'm assuming that means he'll be in Milwaukee all weekend/at the game tomorrow but the way the tweet was written makes me wonder if it's today only?

Official visits are multiple days. It starts today and ends Sunday.

Looks like we are his second official visit (Texas). Would love to get him locked up early (though don't expect it)

His video looks good, can take over for Sam in 2 years with Joey, so it is up to Joey to sell him on that.

I think you are on to something here. I think seeing how Wojo uses both Hauser boys could be a great selling point for Mr. Garcia. Dawson reminds me of a skinny left handed Henry. Mobile big man with some shooting touch. Hey and Joey could be a deadly duo down low.

Actually,  I think Garcia is more like Joey than Henry.  Skinnier but a little quicker.  Joey and Dawson can both shoot better than Henry.

Bottom Line, Dawson can see there is an opportunity start as a freshman, which I am sure he will be looking at.

Amazing. Go get em Wojo. Symir and Dawson would be a hell of a 2020 base.

Dawson and Dainja together at the forward spots would be something else.  Wojo did it with Henry and Luke, in terms of that much size playing together.

Go to the Marquette game and then hide in a bathroom stall while they clear out the crowd before the Bucks game.  2 for the price of 1, ai'na?

Completely agree on the seeing the Hauser brothers being a huge benefit for Wojo. Obviously we would all love to have this kid at Marquette, would be a great get.

The recent Minnesota success w Sacar and Theo, the options of the success of the Hauser bros and current overall team success, and the other schools that are in on him (mostly local midwest, none that truly scare me) have me pretty optimistic about this one. I hope the staff makes a strong push and the kid sees his future with a huge win in front of a massive crowd tomorrow.

Ps- I think players in this type of mold- taller/skinnier good shooting stretch 3/4s ala Sam and Joey- are becoming a huge part of both the ncaa and nba game. Coach K has had excellent success with them at duke and coach Wojo has had a nice run of late.

Would love to see it keep it going. One of the Hausers success in the nba would be a massive boost as well if it happens, but seeing the success and heavy usage at Marquette has gotta be a big deal for kids like D. Garcia.

Wait ... so he left Shakatown without committing to The Greatest Coach Ever? Impossible! Didn't Mrs. Shaka tell him how horrible Milwaukee is?

(I know Garcia could still end up signing with Texas and I'll have to eat crow. It's not that bad with a little Worcestershire sauce.)

Matt Norlander, Gary Parrish, and Jeff Goodman all think Sean Miller will be out as head coach at Arizona by the time the 2019-2020 college basketball season tips off.  Would love to see if Mannion would back out of his commitment and if Marquette would be considered the second time around.

I can not believe people on this board would not take Nico Mannion if he asks out of his LOI.You have to be out of your minds.Instant impact player at the PG position.Calipari had Quickley signed last year and he had no problem taking Ashton Hagans in the late signing period. You can not become elite unless you get elite players and you think MU should  turn down Mannion?Yeah right.
Why do you think he will even be eligible, if Arizona explodes?

There's been no indication that Mannion is tainted by what's happened at Arizona.

So your logic is that because he signed with AZ he would obviously be ineligible? Even though he hasn't been linked to any wrong doing ?

First, what Fluffy and Mark said.

Second, Jahvon Quinerley was actually part of the FBI probe at Arizona and he was still able to play at Villanova this season.
