My buddy and I sat right next to them and their party.

They cheered a couple of times but mostly watched quietly. Also spent a decent amount of time on their phones. That I noticed, anyway. There were several occasions when I was one of only a few people in the entire section standing and cheering.

Were they cheering when Marquette or DePaul did something well?  They have offers from both programs.

Jalen definitely liked one of Theo's blocks, that I can tell you.

I was in their section and they were a rows in front of me. From what I saw they didn't cheer much and were pretty neutral all game. I wouldn't really expect much else though. Some lady from MU came and got them right as the game was ending and they headed towards the locker room so hopefully they at least got to talk to the staff or something.

I'd agree with this. As I said, I saw Jalen appreciate at least one of Theo's blocks. Mostly, he either watched the game or played on his phone. In other words, he did what teenagers (and a lot of adults) do.

In my limited experience, this describes 95% of recruits to all programs. You aren't going to see many going nuts during a visit

Got a chance to see him live a little while back. Very pleased to report he has an excellent neck so the future is bright.  Looking forward to his arrival on campus.

I like MU's chances with kids from the Midwest and East vs the West Coast and Southwest.

Desmond Polk with a strong junior year.

Since 2020 is a huge year for MU, here are the new 2020 rankings.  Herman's fascination pick, Desmond Polk is #137.
MU's lone commitment, Symir Torrence is #50.  Lots of offers for many top 50 picks out there.

Rivals did the 2019 rankings last week and MU's lone signee, Dexter Akanno not listed, presume he is still ranked in the #350 range.

Nice to see Symir at #50.

Any chance on Thon Maker's brother. Does he want to come play around with his brother? We are all about that family connection!

Mr. Sand-Knit

You have to wonder how realistic Polk and Beekman are at this point with symir on board.
Polk n beekman rather smallish too
With symir n decter we may have PG licked down for the next few years after Markus n Koby leave

I agree with this analysis. I still need to see more from Dexter to know, but we do have good depth for 2020 as of now at the point. Then again, it sort of confuses me that 247 has us "hot" on the top 35ish PG Nix (I will screw up the spelling of his first name if I do it off the cuff), given that I haven't seen much connecting the staff with him and the supposed current depth at pg.

Would love to see Garcia, Dainja or one of the SF prospects commit sooner rather than later to keep solidifying the 2020 class.
