I'm not worrying......Wojo knew we needed a point guard and he added 1

2, actually, even if the second won't be active until the first is gone.

Yep. I'm feeling a little better after the recent article where Wojo said Eke should be 100% in a few weeks. Back injuries are unpredictable and seem to end careers at a higher rate than other kinds of injuries. But he is still a project who has missed a year of development at this point.

Morrow will be a BAMF in the post but he is only 6'7". He'll be fine on the boards and offense, but he struggled guarding bigger posts when he was at Nebraska. I like having at least two guys who are 6'9" or taller on the roster in case you need to defend an offensive 7 footer. Personal preference. I'd like one more big body in the next two classes.

Not highly ranked but a slew of high major offers. Little Marketing Tool has him 100% to Bucky

With a Jalen Wilson article just below that:

Wojo can build relationships with recruits as well as anyone. But a Texas kid playing for an Adidas AAU team? Enjoy Kansas kid.

Becky has been on him for a long time; most of the offers are new. You could see potential with Zeke during the high school year, but this spring he's been insanely good with D1 Minnesota. You'll see his little rankings rise a lot as the summer progresses.

The cristal bowel simply reflects that becky was the one school on him looooong ago. Dramatic amount of schools are on him now and the list is growing daily

Local big man. I like it.

A tall man at least but really skinny.  Then again, I think Hakim Warrick was skinny in HS, too.

He was skinny at Syracuse, too. Still playing in Europe or Israel.

McKay was pretty skinny too

Was a great spring for the program.  Interesting take in the linked article: "Marquette should be one of the favorites to win the Big East next season thanks in part to its success in the transfer market."

Even the national guys are seeing the potential.  Finally we get to put to rest the debate on Wojo's in-game coaching chops.  Big East will be markedly down next year, and we are looking our best in 5 years.

Always something to look forward to. Our conference will be markedly less next year, so now is our chance to shine to make Wojo look good. Why not: Our conference is a juggernaut, and we are juggering through it? But no, we need to get excited about us moving up because the others are diminishing.....sigh.

Greg and Jamal had a very good experience as freshman and that is going to be very helpful in this recruitment. Would love to get another tough Motor City kid at MU.

Quote from: THRILLHO on May 05, 2018, 05:51:57 AMSo was is Kevin Durant.

I was thinking the same thing. Durant was listed at 6-9/215 during his freshman season at Texas, and averaged 11 rebounds a game. Athleticism and skill are just as important as size, if not more so.

Sibley has to gain 20 pounds just to get to Durant's freshman year weight.  That's how crazy skinny he is.

Sibley has great length and athleticism to go with a nice skill set.  He can handle and shoot a bit.  An interesting prospect to watch.

He does still have two years to add some bulk. That Phenom University team is certainly loaded. Will be interesting to see how Curro plays into the recruitment of those players.

Thank you captain obvious.

Not sure why but it feels like some people are inferring I don't like Sibley because he is skinny.  That's not true, I think he's very good.

But he is skinny. He'll need to add a lot of strength to compete with college players.  Maybe he can get there in two years, maybe he needs 3 or 4.  We'll see what the future holds.

TedBaxter

Sibley might be similar to McKay in girth, but I hope as hell he has more common sense than McKay.  Good God he was a train wreck.
