I have edited my original post on this subject. I think the kid might have read too much into something Bennett said to him. It's a bit of a stretch to believe that Bennett actually said what was quoted.

To be clear I was not doubting you but poking fun at Tony Bennett. I think it's possible/likely he said something like this but I think it's silly (even though I have a soft spot for the guy).

Shaka recruits will likely start to see immediate rise in ranking due to success of the program. Not saying it is not deserved, but there is program hype that guys benefit from. My guess is if he announced UWM the spike not have happened. If he announced UW, he might have fallen ten spots.

I vaguely recall seeing something posted on here within the last several months where some commentator said he thought that one of MU's 2023 guys was going to rise in the rankings. I want to say it was Lowery...but I really don't remember.

If a team has to have a problem, that's a good one to have. Also, winning goes a long way to helping keep players happy.
