Edit: I think what this kid said may not be what Bennett actually said, but the kid's interpretation of a conversation. It is difficult to believe that Bennett would tell a recruit that UVA was a faith-based program, but he may have talked about how some of his players have a strong religious faith.

Are you simply ignoring that Marquette is, as clearly stated, a Catholic Jesuit university but UVA is, as clearly stated, a public, state owned university aina?

Lol Thomas Jefferson created a version of the gospels that edited out the supernatural portions. The founder of UVA in 1819 is less religious than the average American today. I'm team atheism and appreciate the Bennett family but this is just silliness.

I have edited my original post on this subject. I think the kid might have read too much into something Bennett said to him. It's a bit of a stretch to believe that Bennett actually said what was quoted.

Did anyone hear TB's comments when he accepted the NCAA tourney trophy?  Its not a far reach to think he said this about what he cultivates for his program.
