Recruiting is fluid and things can change by the day or the hour.   Doesn't mean that chili, BR, beej, or big daddy arent passing along the most current intel when recieved, just that chit happens.

When people do share info here, it becomes pretty clear who has a clue and who doesnt have a clue.

This is 100% true.

Would be entertaining if Mane spent the year showcasing himself and Joey got all upset again

Hopefully for Joey he still has the letter outline saved.

That would be funny. Not quite as funny as Madison U getting effed over by the Hausers - twice! - but very funny.

Any "local-ish" recruits wear #25? Guard-sized kid sitting in Marquette owned seats in 108, didn't get a great look but had team sweats with his number

Oso's rebounding and defensive numbers are exciting. But people who have actually seen him play -- is he fundamentally sound defensively in a way that will allow him to get regular minutes as a freshman?

Aircraftcarrier

He is a shot blocking machine who is very mobile and can run the floor.Once he adds strength he could be very scary

I expect Oso to be in the rotation next year. He has good hands, passer, rebounder, shot blocker athletic can shoot it. He will have to adjust to the physicality, higher  level of play, increased pace of play etc...as does any Frosh.

I'm surprised it's already the state title game in Arizona. It's still Catholic league playoffs in Detroit and the state playoffs don't start for another week

Texas is on Arizona's schedule. Maybe its a weather thing? Spring sports can start sooner in Arizona so they wrap up winter sports more quickly. Plus they probably don't want the spring sports going too far into those brutal summers.

Yep, things are different in AZ with regards to sports and time of year.  I also look at number of games played, competition,. etc and Oso's team will have played about 30 games. That's at most a few games or so less than what some other state champs would have in the low to mid 30's elsewhere. They also traveled to play in some good tourneys etc....AZ has six hoops classifications.

Interestingly enough, Brophy Prep, a large Jesuit HS there won its 2nd straight large school soccer state title there a few days ago. That stands out as soccer is often a fall sport wrapping up just before and after Thanksgiving depending on the state and climate.

In my experience, some of the Upper Midwest schools finish their seasons, example fall, a week or two sooner than some others and start slightly earlier. And I know baseball works differently in WI for example. I assume that is because of weather.

High school baseball in Wisconsin switched to all-Spring baseball last year.  Previously, some schools played a late-March to early June schedule, and others played a May-July summer schedule.  Two different state tournaments for Spring and Summer baseball.  They switched to all-Spring because it allows travel players to actually play their high school season before travel ball starts up.  There was a pretty high MLB draft pick a few years ago who never suited up for Waukesha West because it conflicted with travel season.

This has NOTHING to do with weather.  In fact, now things are worse, because of all of the March/April rainouts.

The only reason some schools/conferences were holding on to summer baseball was that the weather was so much better than the spring season.

Awesome. Someone I really want to come to Marquette. Good sign he is visiting again

Outstanding. Sell the parents on how convenient/easy/nice it would be to take in both their sons' games in the same day or weekend.

Boo birds gargling with salt water to sway his decision?

Should help our cause either way.  If he's a confident, capable, self-assured athlete he's craving feedback from an informed, knowledgeable fan base and will be very impressed by the act, adding a "pro" to the pros/cons list for Marquette.

And if he's not a confident, capable, self-assured athlete, then we dodge a bullet by him being turned off by the booing.

Win-win.  Let the boo bird fly!
