UNC's Hubert Davis in NY TODAY to see RJ Davis.

This one will go down to the wire.

Well that is less confidence-inducing than I would like.
It is basically a summary of the word here on the street locally. NY is primarily pro sports focused, but there are pockets of interest in higher end high school sports and RJ and Stepinac High are in that zone epicenter , so a lot of coffee break talk  about RJ and AJ Griffin going on.  The circles of communication are small and everyone in the area in the EYBL and Catholic League knows each others business.

Wojo, Stan, Killings and Presutti are pressing as hard as they can.  Just keep thinking positive thoughts.

NYC is full of gossipy bitches is the other way to phrase it.

His dad "liked" a random Georgetown post about Ewing (the player) yesterday. He also "liked" a post noting that RJ was going to visit NC still. His mom also just "liked" a post about his visit to NC coming up. I have no idea what it all means.

It means they are good parents and are celebrating the success of their child and supporting him in the process.

Maybe it just means they're generally agreeable people with rosy dispositions.  All the more reason to sign him up.
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Would it be a violation to send RJ a DVD of the 1977 title game?
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Knot fealin' it heer, hey?

It's a win-win for you, Doc. If we get this kid, he will be fun to watch. If he goes elsewhere, you'll be able to celebrate Wojo missing out on a recruit.

On Garcia and Davis...

Interesting. I like to see us as a top runner for Dawson right now. I think if it comes down to IU and Marquette, we can make a really good case that Marquette is a better fit. Faster play, more scoring, better player showcasing and more on-court success as of late (yes, we have gone to tourney twice in past 3...they made the NIT once so far under archie).
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Don't know where we're at with Blackwell, But he sure would look
good in an MU Uni. Hate Iowa State. Our program is on the same

Don't think we recruited Blackwell.  We're waiting on Davis and Garcia to decide.
