Reece Beekman committed to Virginia this morning so you can cross him off the list.

Glow - Niels Lane has made an unofficial visit last September and they've watched him several times but have not made an offer yet.

Thanks.  Then he certainly ISN'T on the list given how long the Offer list is at this point.

Ha.  I wonder if Diener or Jimmy Mac ever read Scoop (they must, right?) and got a kick out of me including their kids the first time they saw it?

Register and chime in boys.  Rocky and Topper will ban hammer any fools here who abuse you.

Also, as far as the front page goes, here are some thoughts:

Gabe Madsen - We have offered but haven't heard us seriously mentioned with him since 2017. Probably not a serious candidate.
Isaiah Jackson - Don't think we are involved anymore.
Caleb Love - listed North Carolina, Louisville, Texas, Indiana and Missouri in a recent article.
Marjon Beauchamp - We offered very early but haven't heard anything since. Guessing he stays out west.
Johnny Juzang - signed with Kentucky
Cam'Ron Fletcher - Offered last July, watched him in September. Nothing since. Was going to release a top 5 on May 31st but changed his mind.
Jaylen Clark - Nothing since we offered last June.
Bryce Thompson - No mention of Marquette in a May interview. listed Missouri, ND, KU, Oklahoma and Oklahoma St.
DJ Steward - Haven't heard anything since we offered. listed some schools he wants to visit in June but no mention of MU.

It is your list so however you want to do it is fine.

I would say this, he is probably one of the hottest players  out there. Killings and U Conn put out an offer early on.  MU has been closely monitoring for some time. 247 rank went from unranked to 67. Is picking up offers from several Big East schools and the likes of Florida and Georgia.

I think he is more of a real prospect than many of the names of the list.

Winning is overrated. The only time it is really important is in surgery and war.

Damn. Thought Beekman might lean Virginia, but really hoped we could snag him alongside Torrence. Bennett got a really good one.

Doesn't matter how good you think he is, if he doesn't have an offer he isn't coming here.

Lance Ware, PF,  should also be added to 2020.  Recently listed Marquette as one of four schools pursuing him the hardest.

You can add Kansas to Caleb Love’s list...was offered the other day on his visit there, after recently getting a North Carolina offer.  ...also as an fyi Wisconsin has been recruiting his and Fletcher’s former St. Louis Eagles/Bradley Beal Elite teammate Luke Kasubke. Kasubke (now running with Mokan Elite) had 28 in close high school game loss to Nicolet this past season. Fletcher was offered by NC. St recently. Still no list for him.

For 2020, Jamari Sibley and Johnny Davis are still being targeted. But looking at next year, Marquette's roster will have zero scholarship players since at least 1949-50, and I suspect the first time in program history.

Are elite Wisconsin kids that elite anymore, hey?  Your dental patient and Dekker as of late and some cups of coffee as of recent times (Wes and Harris have been in the League 10-15 years now).

It's the darnedest thing. Doc claims he doesn't get his jollies when Wojo misses on a recruit, but he sure does love making comments like this.

My thoughts are well known with respect to Woj. I'll believe he can do it when he gets it done. He's an average recruiter, maybe below average given his resources, and a below average coach. Since he has the administration's backing, I guess we have to go with him. Though, that doesn't mean we have to like it.

If he's an average/below average recruiter, and a below average coach, then how is MU an above average program? The math ain't mathin' eh?

Let the record reflect,  a below average recruiter landed kids who were good enough for Virginia and Michigan State and a (likely) preseason first-term all-American.

I'm glad you have something that can give you pleasure: reveling in Wojo's recruiting misses.

Otherwise, I'll defer to my fellow Scoopers the many holes in your "logic."
