I think a lot of younger guys should be watching The Big Short.

Porky's Butthole

#626
The Australian comedy series RAKE starring Richard Roxburgh as a degenerate but brilliant high-profile criminal defense attorney in Sydney.   By far the funniest and raunchiest series Porky has seen in the last 10 years at least.   Seasons 1-4 are currently available on Amazon Prime.  Season 5 is also accessible but unfortunately behind a pay wall so those additional eight episodes will run you an extra $19.99.    It's a bit of a commitment with 5x eight episode seasons but well worth the time.  BINGE IT BABY!  Porky is highly confident those that do and stick with it will love it, and gladly part with the extra $20 for season 5.   Just be warned.....It's extremely twisted.....but in a hilarious way!

Any other Scoopers familiar with RAKE?

What was it like at MU when the world found out about Dahmer? It must have been crazy since he lived pretty close.

Born in Milwaukee but raised in Ohio at age 6. His dad was a MU grad in Chemistry. Wikipedia is vague if he was also a researcher for MU or somewhere else.

I think he was a Becky undergrad. MU for masters, and for doctorate, Marquette West

"Reboot" on Hulu is pretty good.

Eclectic cast:  Keegan Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Rachel Bloom, Paul Reiser.

Reminds me a lot of "Extras".
Have some patience, FFS.

Pretty decent. But try Reservation Dogs on Hulu. Best half-hour comedy show since Veep.

I went into it thinking, nope, I will not like this.  Changed.  I agree, seems good.

Hate that only 1 episode to watch to date.

There's at least 3 now.

Great movie.  Too bad real life Michael Burry is up his own arse.

That's good, too, but they are two entire different types of shows.

We've already discussed this, and I also love Reservation Dogs. Very unique, smart, funny show. I will say that I think we laugh more when we watch Hacks on HBO, so I'd probably put that just a step above. But yes, it's very difficult to make truly funny comedies, so when you get Veep or Hacks or Reservation Dogs or Curb, it's really a gift.

How do you guys find time to watch all these shows?? I guess I could, but don't want to give up my 30 hours of gaming per week

Hopefully, you've moved on from Fortnite?

What games?  I bought the PS5 early on and it's just sat on the TV stand collecting dust.  I was going to sell it for a profit until they announced NCAA Football would be back.  I'm hoping that means NCAA 2K makes a comeback at some point, but even if not I'll hang onto it until I can give NCAA Football a shot.

The Show was the only game I played at all on it, and that's just when it's the heat of baseball season and no other sports are on to watch.

I bet all sports games (well, not all, but mlb, Madden, nba, nhl... sometimes fifa)... gonna get the pga 2k3 game this month... and yes, still a little Fortnite here and there.

90% of my time (more like 2-3 hours a week) has been on MLB the past few months

PS5 doesn't have a ton of great exclusives yet. But there are lots of games out there that are really good. I haven't gone more than a week without playing my PS5 since I got it a year ago.

Elden Ring, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, God of War, and Returnal are all really good, though some are not for everyone. Then there are several free to play games that are good for killing time, Rocket League is particularly great. Given, I'm not much of a sports video game person.

Now some people want to put up a memorial to his victims at the site. It is not the families of his victims, must be people that watched the Netflix series.

MU owns the plot, and when the City bought some of MU's Campus Circle plots, they passed on that one.

Of course, random people want to put up a memorial.  ::)

It should stay an empty lot, just like where John Wayne Gacy's house used to be.

How many years? I went past what I thought was the lot about 13 years ago and it was still empty.

That house has been there for at least 15 years. My grandma lived a couple blocks away.
