Great House of the Dragon tonight. One of the best episodes IMHO.

Ha, I thought it was one of the worst.

The Watcher was pretty half-baked compared to what it had the potential to be.  Caught halfway between two things, couldn't pull either off.

I've started the Watcher. Now I see all of the backlash at the supposedly Sh!tty ending. Is it worth my time?

It just gets a little to convoluted for it's own good. Probably worth the time as it's not that long, but it just kinda starts tripping over itself and fails to stick the landing, which was disappointing because the premise is solid.

A Ryan Murphy ‘masterpiece’. Every show of his is awful.

According to Nielsen, the #1 streaming show the past week was Cobra Kai, followed by Rings of Power and House of the Dragon.

I like Cobra Kai (although I haven't started the new season yet), but I wouldn't have guessed it would be more popular than the other two.

I suspect this is influenced by the other 2 not dropping the whole season at once.  I've watched all of RoP but never more than 1 episode in a week.  CK had 10 times the content drop (in episodes... probably 5-7 times the minutes) in the days leading up to the week reported here.  I would be surprised if the same trend holds for the period of say the first episode release until a month after the last episode of a season releases.

Nip/Tuck was great before it fell off a cliff. Halston wasn’t bad, but everything else recent from him is hot garbage. I made the mistake of watching Hollywood and the last episode could have been some of the worst Netflix content I’ve ever seen

What was it like at MU when the world found out about Dahmer? It must have been crazy since he lived pretty close.

One of the victims, Errol Lindsey, is shown to have had a MU ID. We know no MU students were victims, was he an employee or was this revisionist history (like a few things in the show)?

Going to be a looooong wait until season 2 of HOTD but really enjoyed. Was great to get back into that universe with showrunners who wanted to make it.

Everyone catch season 3 and tge final one of Derry Girls?
Leaving on a very high hopeful note.

Just finished it.  Loved that final episode so much (although the very last scene of the series felt forced and gimmicky and didn't add much; would have preferred it ended with the monologue + Cranberries).  Overall I thought the season was bookended with perfection (ep 1 and 7) but the rest were just OK.  I was thinking Orla or the Sister need a spinoff but I don't think it works if either are the core vs. complementary characters.

Yeah. It's hard to forget the last time we saw a Targaryen woman with that look on her face.

I guess this is the best place for it.

Matthew Perry released a book and immediately gets tone deaf moron of the year.

His comment about Phoenix and Farleys death was gonna be bad regardless of who he used as a comp. But going with Keanu Reeves was quite the choice.

Not one person edited it before and thought "yeah maybe you should leave that part out"??? At least choose like Spacey or some sh it not the most well like actor out there.

All press is good press.  I doubt people were lining up for a Matthew Perry book (or even knew it existed) before the controversy.

I don't think theres a market for autobiographies anyways.

Here's something that bugs me about House of the Dragon (and, in hindsight, GoT) (spoilers ahead): It's odd that the Targaryen genes are only dominant when it serves the plot. Targaryen + Hightower results in flowing blond locks. Targaryen + Strong results in curly brown hair. And, of course, Targaryen + Stark results in dark brown hair too.

A common complaint of the book readers
