I almost believe it was an accident.    The odds that the only thing he hit all day that he was aiming at was Joey's groin are too astronomical.  #0-fer

Don't know if it's been mentioned but the funniest thing to me was that Flopper McDickpuncher even missed with the nut punch.....I mean other than getting a WTF out of Joey it didn't even phase him.

Completely agree. Joey took it like a champ. If someone came close to breathing on Brad he goes to the fetal position

I'll be referring to Bradly as Doughnut Davison.  Gets both the nut in doughnut, for the nut shot, and refers to the fat doughnut he put up in the points column while being on the floor for over 30 minutes in the game.

Joey will confirm that his nads were set, stationary, and outside the circle when Brad's fist ran into them.

FWIW: We talked to #Badgers guard Brad Davison today. Said he told Joey Hauser he was sorry for the contact to his groin in OT. Insisted that despite how it might have looked on video, he wasn't trying to hit him there or anywhere.

Confirmed — it's a grab.

Good on him for apologizing to Joey and showing remorse.  It's exactly what we'd want one of our players to do.

That being said - does his attitude/flops warrant this being something opposing fans should razz him about? absolutely.  If it never repeats itself does this make him a dirty player?  absolutely not.

There's been a number of other instances Davison's showed his poor decision-making as far as being a clean player. Granted this stuff happens in the heat of the moment, it's still of course more than preventable.

I can just see them at their Summer camps:

Teaching the youngsters the "Badger Way"
1)  Work hard and become the best player you can become.
2)  For obvious reasons, always ask for payment in cash.
3)  If the other team is better, some may call it flopping, we refer to it as embellishing the fictitious.
4)  If you're still losing, "Punch 'em in the nuts"

I swear he did something very similar against Sacar when Anim was coming down from the top of the key.  Floppy McDickpuncher stuck his foot in front of Anim who stumbled over it and lost the ball to Happ.  The announcers were going on about Happ's wonderful steal and I was yelling "trip!" at the TV.

Would you expect anything different from any other program given what happened.  Even if it was intentional (which it certainly looked like to me), Davison is never going to say it was, and Potrykus is doing his job by asking and reporting what he said.  I do think Potrykus is a huge badger homer, but if something similar happened with an MU player, even if I didn't believe the player, I certainly wouldn't judge Steele for reporting what they said.

Hmmmm...I see what you mean.  38:50 or so in this video (at about 19:20 in the second half). https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aZrmcllIdnc

A little tough from the angle/speed to see if there is anything intentional or not, but given the pattern, would not be surprised.  The replay shows the head on angle a little better.

Nice find.  I just looked at the video of the trip at 19:25 to play in the 2nd half.  Fox shows the steal/trip in slow mo during Happ's ensuing free throw.  Absolutely an intentional trip.  Nobody sticks their foot out that far when playing defense without trying to kick the ball, or in this case tripping Sacar.

What a tool!

That's an incredible find.  That's at least the second video evidence of a blatant trip.  That's not a natural defensive move no matter what the slappys will say that cover them.  No doubt there are more cases of him doing that
