Damn - I don't think I saw the backside angle on the telecast - that absolutely should have been a Flagrant 2 and it should earn him a suspension. Floppy McDP went for it so hard he was cuppin' Joey's junk in his elbow.

Had a couple Badger fans today tell me they think it was an accident and shouldn't have been a foul. I still haven't seen a good replay (the one in the FF was crap) but definitely felt like they were putting everything on the refs yesterday.

Like others, didn't have any idea what the review was for at the Forum. Texted a UW friend and he said, "Davison got a piece of Hauser on the way around the screen." Hah, ridiculous, call it what is classless, unacceptable, and ejection worthy. UW program summed up when he was put back in.

People see what they want to see. Those F%cky fans are delusional.

I saw a great replay and watched it multiple times. It was absolutely an intentional play -- I mean, Davison obviously stretched his arm so he could hit Joey right in the nuggets -- and he should have gotten a Flagrant 2. I would love to with a good ref while he's watching the replay and have him explain why it wasn't a Flagrant 2. It was deliberate, it was dirty, it was extreme, and it was an intent to injure.

Thanks. The angle they showed in the FF didn't come close to showing what happened. All the UW-M fans around us were pissed off after that, thought he got a flagrant for nothing.

100% intentional.

Watch the video, no grey area. This was a flagrant 2 and should have been called that way. I often cheer for UW when they aren't playing Marquette.  Won't support any team with this jerk playing.

Marquette's victory was the ultimate karma.

He needed two balls in his hands to make impact in this game.

I almost believe it was an accident.    The odds that the only thing he hit all day that he was aiming at was Joey's groin are too astronomical.  #0-fer

My hope is that Wisconsin and/or the Big 10 have something further to say about this.  No place for crap like that.

Imagine the difference in reaction when students see him on campus tomorrow vs. last Monday.

I am sure he was getting high-fives aplenty a week ago.
Have some patience, FFS.

I have to bring my daughter back to campus at Madison tomorrow (hey, nobody is perfect).  I'm nearly 100% sure my car won't swerve at him if I see him walking to class.  It may honk at him but you never know with the crazy features on cars these days.

Maybe some students will give him a nut tap or two.

IF-note, that's a big IF davison had any respect for the game, he would have come out with an apology...quickly.  he's only a sophomore.  do they make protection that small? :D

Yep. I don't know what it takes to earn a suspension, but such a deliberate cheap shot ought to be on that list.
