Markus rode pine today but the Nuggets closed it out and hes moving on to Round 2.

Awesome stuff.
Gives Markus several more chances to add to his body of work. He has to be pumped up the way things are going.

Hopefully Suns come out strong in the second half and close this series out. Would love to see Jae get some more visibility .

Jae Crowder 4-5 from 3 for 12 points and Wes Matthews 7 points so far in the middle of the 3rd Quarter.

MuggsyB

Wes is keeping the Lakers in this game along with the Suns melting down.  Both MU players have played very well on both ends of the floor.

MuggsyB

Jae just dropped the hammer on Lebron.  :)

Jae is a very, very divisive topic on twitter.

Quite entertaining

Quite entertaining

He blocked Lebron twice down the stretch and dropped six threes.  He also set the tone with his Bam, Bam, Bam, sequence early.  Tremendous performance by Jae tonight.

Mutaman

Jae's little dance at the end was very reminiscent of Buzz' Country Roads affair.

With that contract?

23 year old, all defensive team last year, borderline all NBA this year (seen him on some lists, don't think he'll make it). He is the cornerstone of the Heat for the next 10 years to build around. Have you seen who gets max deals these days?

Herman Cain

Delighted to see Jae playing a key role in the Suns win.

Also was good to see Wes making contributions for The Lakers

Not surprising.

I love Jae. One of the best Marquette players of the post-Al era. I'm guessing Al would have loved Jae, too.

Jae has has unbelievable visibility for the role he plays since his 2017 playoff run with the Celtics (and including riding with JFB to the finals last year).

Everyone who knows the NBA knows Jae.

An editor friend of mine just said this of Jae: He is pretty much the ideal example of "not a superstar, but the kind of player every good team needs."

Crowder's amazing Twitter handle only helps the situation.

Which explains why he has bounced around so much- he's good enough to be a very valuable trade asset, but not so good that you can't trade him.

I wonder if there's ever been a guy who plays the type of minutes he does that has been on more teams?  What is he at, 7 teams in 10 seasons?  And that's not even counting being traded on draft night.

Well, the Suns gave him a real contract: 3 years, $30M. So I think he'll be there for at least a couple years!

Jae's contracts may be as good a value as you can get in the NBA today.

Herman Cain

Would like to see Jae and the Suns continue to do well. One more quality win and they can get to the Western Conference Finals.
