Arby's now has deep-fried turkey. "The meat mountain at Arby's is expanding faster than a rabbit colony. "

Meat. Mountain.

Turkey?  Pffft.  They have freakin' VENISON!

I won't take Arby's seriously until they serve Rocky Mountain Oysters....

Probably not anytime soon.  I hear that Elmer Fudd is in charge of procuring the meats....

YES IT IS! And I have seen very few of them...
having said that I made quite the creamy duck soup from the last haul last weekend.

So you're saying Arby's currently has a duckburger on the menu?  ;)

Open answer type question:

I can't stand tomato juice...
At brunch currently and their bloody Mary's look amazing!!!(7 different pickeled veggies and a piece of deep fried veal). So I asked the bartender:
Can I do a "orange mary", as in OJ and Vodka with the toppings instead of the tomato juice?

Bartender 1 says: no I don't think we can do that.

Bartender behind her goes "oh I can totally do that!"

(It's amazing! Super good!)

But fair or foul to ask that?

Or you could just say a screw driver with toppings...

Completely fair.  You're the customer.  And if it really is too hard - which I can't imagine in a case like this - the worst they can do is say no.

I hate tomato juice too.....

The headline says "high fives"...but the article refers more broadly to "friendly touching."

I could see that getting out of hand....

Old news.....

When I took my first tour of the Al, which I believe was 2010 or 2011, Joe True told us about that while he showed us the video room.  He said it was part of the metrics they measured.  At the time (I don't know if it is still true), Marquette was the only non-NBA team that collected highly detailed data like that from game film.

Had a sweet tango today. Cub was out of pink ladies. Sweet tangos normally go for $3+ per lb.  on sale for $1.99. Pretty good stuff.

It's a hybrid of Honeycrisp (sweet) and Zestar (tangy).  All three are top notch apples.

Spiegel and Parkins just had a discussion about apples, among other things, and how horribly misnamed and tasting Red delicious apples are.

I am so tired of celebrities stealing my material.

This is almost as bad as John Madden using my joke about how the perps on "Cops" would avoid arrest if they just wore a freakin' shirt.

Or that as a general rule, one should avoid any street that is named after Martin Luther King, Jr.  Of course, it's not racist when Chris Rock said it a decade after I made that observation after I got lost once in Hyde Park.
