Forget Florida .. Sargassum is brutal on some islands.  We were on STT a couple years ago, and one beach would be fine, the other would be just inundated with cubic yards of the weed .. and as it decayed, it'd give off a powerful stink, smellable for miles.

And like .. how do you get rid of it?  100 dump trucks, maybe burn it.  And tomorrow another 100 dump trucks?  Some bays .. had tugs with those long booms they use for oil slicks.  Corral a few million pounds and shove it back to sea.
