As an aside, was in Kroger shopping and they have Sardines (different brand) on sale. Must of been a bumper crop on the little fellas.

As another aside, I had the best sardines in Marbella spain, Fresh, cooked oven an open fire with olive oil and sea salt. I cannot eat canned sardines again. Each beachside restaurant has a boat filled with sand, where they grill these MF'ers.

FYI - Mustard has a large amount of vinegar in it - also acidic

Yeah that's why I'm envisioning them being too broken down like the tomato sauce ones.

Well then, I misunderstood your statement.  Oddly, I had this sardine conversation with someone at a NYE party.  He loved them all, but preferred the marinara version.

Reminds me of my dad, when he was in his late 50s, skiing .. I called it "typewriter" skiing.

He'd start on one side of the hill and go allllllll the way to the other, turn, and go allllll the way to the other side, repeat.
