My teacher wife said the kids were doing lots of "armpit farts" today.

Is there another slang name for that?

I have no other name for it, but in trying to research the issue I discovered that flatulence related humor goes back a long time…

In a former life, I did business in Morton, Illinois, the self - proclaimed Pumpkin Capital of the United States.

There was a Libby's plant there, and in the fall, there would be a ginormous pile of pumpkins on the side of the building. Not surprisingly, it was all the pumpkins that were too ugly to sell for carving.

Nothing beats a good homemade pumpkin soup. One of my annual must-make things. Just got our pumpkins today and I'm already excited.
