Happy Friday.

Would you like to learn how turkeys are processed?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=852zxDEAR-Q

Or chickens?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvHHHZjDQOk

At least it has pleasant music in the background as they show the turkeys getting decapitated.

I know, right?

I'd like to know where all the chicken feet go.

I also had no idea they could retrieve an egg from the carcass.

You can buy the feet at Woodmans.

Yeah and if there's no shell yet it's a major delicacy.

You never had chicken foot soup?

No.

That's a lot of feet, though.  Millions a day are not being put in soup.

I did just learn that when you get wings, they chop each wing into two pieces, so there's 4 wings per bird.  Still 2 feet though.

The pig one is awesome!

It has the same, happy music, but has cute pig grunts in the background.  Until about the 5:00 minute mark where it takes a sudden turn.

Have you never gotten a whole rotisserie chicken?  Or grilled a whole chicken (beer can is good)?  Wings (full size), but sadly no feet, included.

My understanding is feet are often used for chicken stock you might buy premade.

Funny story on wings. My fiancé and I make our own version of Points East wings and she went to the grocery store to get the wings for the first time, she came back with drum sticks saying "I don't know why but they're all sold out of the tiny ones and I couldn't find the wings, all they had is these massive ones" I've never laughed so hard then a week later her younger sisters boyfriend said almost the exact same thing when he said he'd run and get wings on the way over 😂😂

For the love of God, don't send her out for any Buffalo wings.
Have some patience, FFS.

Ah. another senseless school shooting.

Talking to a kid on my baseball team tonight.  First practice.  6th grader.  "Yeah, I brought a toy gun to school.  Was waving it around.  It made the news, I might still have it on my phone."

Awesome.

YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!

How about a small red duffel bag received as a promotional giveaway at a 1986 Denver Nuggets game -- can I store gasoline in that?

My kids have now seen Die Hard 1, 2, and 3.  (Yes, I know there's more.)

I think I rate them 1-2-3.

I mean, 1 is classic.   2 and 3 are still very solid action movies.

I had to think .. I've probably seen parts of 1 at least 30 times, 2 maybe 15, 3 .. three times?

Discuss.

Depends. Does it have a zipper?
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

Interesting. I would rate them 1-3-2.

1 is a no-brainer. It's in the GOAT conversation for both action movies and Christmas movies.

I really like 3 a lot. It's not as good as 1, but the interactions with Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson are great. I also like the villain connections to 1, the Simple Simon riddles and connections to Hans, and that it's decidedly its own movie. 2, to me, is really just trying to replicate 1 in an airport, much like how Under Siege is Die Hard on a boat (which was the original plan for Die Hard 3 before Under Siege came out).

2 is fine, but just not as good as the others.

While I'm sure I enjoyed it when it came out, 2 does not hold up well.
I guess when two of the best actors in it are Fred Thompson and Dennis Franz, that will happen.
