No one in our family uses ketchup unless it's called for in a recipe. I don't think I even have a bottle in my refrigerator right now.

My son-in-law does not like condiments of any kind. Once in a blue moon he'll have a steak with some A1 sauce.

For me a burger without ketchup is like having a salad without dressing; to each their own.

AFAIK there is no need to keep those in the fridge
I love the green El Yucateco ever since a co-worker gave it to me because he thought it was too hot

Back in the day, I think all the mothers read the same book about nutrition, every one had to have Liver once a week. The key strategy for liver in those times was to smother it in Ketchup . Critical to have multiple bottles of Ketchup on hand.

Several years ago on a family vacation in Paris we took the kids to a steak frites place. All the guidebooks warned that they would not serve ketchup because they made their own ‘special sauce,’ but my oldest daughter had to ask anyway.

The waitress, in that uniquely Parisian way, wagged her finger at my daughter and tersely said “no ketchup - sauce!“

My wife, younger daughter and I all thought the sauce was really good, but my oldest daughter refused even to try it.

My parents forbade us to put anything on a steak (assuming we got one - a lot of times we got hamburgers when my dad grilled steaks for the grownups), not even A1 sauce.  They would say a good piece of meat doesn't need anything covering up the flavor.
Have some patience, FFS.

Never understood the appeal of A1, though to be fair I haven't tried it in years.

I can see using A1 on a Ponderosa grade steak.   Any steak worth eating needs no sauce or other condiment.

And I agree. The sauce was great on the fries.

Reports are that our walrus friend is trying desperately to get home from Wales. He's been hitchhiking on boats and took out a few smaller ones accidentally.   I really hope he makes it but there's a lot of concerns.  Primarily humans.  I will feel 0.0 remorse if he flattens a jet-skier trying to take a selfie and  is in his way..  Can they not get him his own vessel and escort him back to Greenland?

holy cow-no pun intended-liver?!?  my mom tried everything, onions, bacon, soaking it in milk...nothing is going to cover up or dull the taste of that organ.  i am not a fussy eater, i love chicken livers, hearts, beef tongue, blood sausage...NOT beef liver.  today, if you don't die from choking to death on it, the cholesterol will kill ya

We have 42 condiments in the fridge.  This includes 4 kinds of butter, which might be a stretch as a condiment.  I mean, regular butter is an ingredient too, but cinnamon sugar butter is a condiment for sure.

I counted the many Arby's packets as just one.

Also, you should give the A1 Chipotle a try.

Is beer considered a condiment?

Let's see:

1. Put peanuts in mouth.
2. Add beer on top.

Yep!

Settling in on my preferred burger toppings as BBQ, butter pickles, and pickled red onions if I have them in the house.

Pretty much perfection for me.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.
