Gwyneth Paltrow's 'vagina' candle reportedly explodes in UK woman's home

Musta been fun taking the 911 call for that one:

"My house is on fire! Gwyneth Paltrow's vagina just exploded!"

Bingo, doc!

I remembered him because he was the starting catcher for the Brewers' first opening day back in 1970. His career actually began a few years earlier with the White Sox.

You know how random thoughts and names inexplicably pop into your head every once in a while? I was on the NordicTrack this morning when suddenly his name popped into my head.

hate to admit, but i knew exactly who you were talking about Goooo.  i remember before the brewers moved to milwaukee, the white sox would play a few games up here at county stadium.  the programs were like a piece of cardboard folded in half with a few short bio's and a place to keep score.  then game tommy harper and the rest of the team...oh danny walton was like our first stormin gormin :D

You bet. Tommy Harper was my favorite Brewer as a little kid, and I liked Davey May too.

I still have programs from the first couple of years, and I always kept score!

Johnny Briggs and Joe Lahoud
We would sit in the left field bleachers between them
Stadium bus was $1.00 ( stopped at McCormick Hall)
Bleacher seat was $1.50

1973/1974

Only went to a few games but oddly, never forgot their names.

Some great memories associated with those names. The Brewers were awful, but just going to the games was awesome.

I also remember how the PA announcer would draw out the name when he said Sixto Lezcano!

I suck at photoshop, but I'd love it if someone here (hint, hint!) could photoshop Bernie into the picture of Al being flipped off by Glenn Hughes....

I started a Bernie meme thread.  No Al photo, but check it out anyway.
Have some patience, FFS.
