He's had 3-4 involuntary Scoop vacations this year.   He's likely off sulking somewhere.

What about warriordad?

Buffalo Wild Wing's Thursday buy-one-get-one deal is awesome.

$16 for enough boneless wings to feed a family of 4?  That's the cheapest meal I've ever sprung for.

That guy seemed like he was wound pretty tight. Hope he's okay.

I've honestly never thought having a 'themed' casket before. Anybody?

I mean, you can see there's a rope initially swaying the other direction, and there *should* have been tension pulling it that way.  But, whoops.  Guessing he wasn't the kind of contractor that had insurance either.

Sheriff: Fleeing suspect abandons winning lottery ticket

https://apnews.com/c4b9039f5fde772c793dd825068aca85

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office says the man had a Georgia Lottery scratch game card worth $100 when he ran away during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 on Monday.

In a Facebook post, it offered its congratulations and invited him to claim the ticket at its office in Canton about 40 miles (64 kilometers) north of Atlanta.

The man, who was not identified, was later taken into custody, sheriff's spokesman Capt. Jay Baker told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Baker said the man was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over for a tag violation, and he ran into the woods. The lottery ticket was in a backpack that also had methamphetamine, according to Baker. The man can have the lottery ticket back, but the sheriff's office said it will keep the drugs.

------------------

So he can have his $100...but will likely have to face charges for possession of meth and fleeing the scene.

Worst. Pandemic. Ever.

Sad news.

That really brings back memories. My family made a trip to the Dells every summer from the late 60s to the mid 70s, and the water show was usually one of our stops.

The good old days...when 'water park' meant your hotel's pool had a diving board and a slide.

We went to Tommy Bartlett for the first time ~3 years ago.

It exceeded my expectations and was solid entertainment.

Honestly, I can't figure out why they'd close forever.   What does it cost to .. preserve the stadium and ski jumps?   Boat maintenance?    It seems like 90% of their infrastructure is ready-built and can be fired up in 1 or 2 years just fine.

Unless there's some bankruptcy thing going on, I don't get it.

I think the Lake Delton collaspe a few years back put them on the edge of bankruptcy and the rona finished them off.

Canada Tesla driver charged over 'napping while speeding'

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54197344

A Canadian man has been charged with dangerous driving for allegedly taking a nap while his self-driving Tesla car clocked up more than 90mph (150km/h).

Police said both front seats were fully reclined, and the driver and passenger were apparently asleep when they were alerted to the incident in Alberta.

The Tesla Model S was doing 140km/h but sped up to 150km/h when a police officer turned on his emergency lights.

And they take speeding seriously.
