Time to freeze a few Beef & Cheddars just in case?

I guess no McRib this year!

What does McRib have to do with meat processing?

Winner.

Happy to have pitched that easy to hit meatball!

I've had maybe three McRibs in my life.  They aren't good, aren't bad.  They just are.

I've ordered them because of the hype.  Other food is less bad, but I'll think, hey, let's give this another spin.  Maybe this one will be good.

Hards Alumni

My friends and I used to get them all the time in High School.  I haven't had one in 20 years... I think its sort of like quitting smoking... after a while your body heals from most of the damage that has been done.

The Sultan

I've not wasting my limited times at McDonalds on things like McRib.  There's Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets to be eatin'!

Filet-o-Fish is the bomb.  It's my go-to order if I have to eat at a McDonald's.  An extra perk is that they never have them premade unless it's a Friday during Lent, so they always have make it fresh for you.  I have angered many a drive-thru patron because of this.

Also, at one point, this was my ringtone:

Have some patience, FFS.

The Sultan

I think it's been over 35 years since I have had a Filet O'Fish.  I bet I've had every other "food" item on their menu since the last time I had one.  So I can't say you're wrong.

McDonald's, bleah.    The last think I remember liking from there was their mushroom and swiss.    Though I am a sucker for any mushroom and swiss burger.      Culver's version is very good, for a chain burger.

The last McDonald's burger I really loved was the McDLT, which was probably back in the 80s. It was great because of the bisected styrofoam container with the burger and cheese side hot and the lettuce, tomato, mayo side cold. But I honestly can't say the last time I ate any fast food, unless Kopp's counts.

I did lots of research over the past couple of Lents.  Wendy's has the best fish sandwich from a fast food place, though you have to specifically ask for cheese or it won't come with it.

Once you've given it a thick coating of breading, deep fried it in oil, and covered it with a thick slab of cheese, there's no discernible fish essence left, right?
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

McNuggets Shanghai - The order came with chop sticks and some kind of sweet & sour sauce.

5-6 years ago we went to the McDonalds at the Nat Air/Space in Dulles (Washington DC).

It had pressurized dispensers for ketchup, mustard and .. drum roll .. sweet and sour sauce.

I was bummed I didn't have any gallon bags to take some S&S sauce back to the hotel.

As the video posted by 'topper shows, your memory is faulty.  For some inexplicable reason, McDonald's thought the cheese belonged on the "cool" side.

McDonalds breakfast is real food.  And it's really good.

I saw that...clearly 10-year-old me's memories aren't as fresh as the cold side of a McDLT three decades later.

I watch that with my kids.  Very funny that I think I even watched on my last flight before Coronavirus mania.
