I live not far from the airport here in Rochester, and often go past it on my bike rides. It's kind of amusing as "international" airports go, since it quite literally is in the middle of a cornfield and the only scheduled flights are to ORD, MSP, DTW and ATL. Not surprisingly, it has been like a ghost town lately.

But occasionally I see something interesting...like the Etihad Airways Boeing 787-9 parked there yesterday. After a check on flightstats, I learned that it flew nonstop from Abu Dhabi, stayed for about a day, then returned. Guessing someone in the royal family had a checkup at Mayo.

This is an unusual little town....
